Let us design on tablets/mobile (Fully featured Figma for iOS and Android)

if we could just delete stuff with apple pen, or the right click of the mouse on a layer/object to delete, it would be a great help.

it would be completely my dream to use figma for urgent little tweaks right from my android tablet. There really is a lot of difficulty to use from the browser

So, my main software of use is Figma, and I’m about to buy a tablet (either iPad or Samsung) but for what I am reading… Figma isn’t ready to use on a tablet, right? So, is it worth the buy or not yet? (it’s my first tablet ever and want to use it for remote purposes)

Having a functional and adapted experience for tablet is clearly something that would totally add values to a myriad of users … and make a deep difference with competition (sketch).

I can’t help but to think to all these meetings where touch devices would really bring significant possibilities.

It is even more on spot if you consider how Figma aim at collaboration.

Figma team, you don’t have to tackle this issue, YOU WANT TO GO THERE.

It’s not really ready, no. However I did recently find a trick:

1. If you have a newer Mac and OS that supports Apple Sidecar
2. And if you have a newer iPad and OS with an Apple Pencil
3. You can set the iPad as a second screen and move Mac Figma to it
4. When you use the Pencil on the iPad, Figma recognizes that input

In this configuration I’m able to interact with the Figma interface and actually draw with the Pencil in the Figma documents. This is the first I’ve been able to do this using either an iPad or Chromebook. I also haven’t heard any news from anyone about this. I just happened to try it one day.

Additionally for the Sidecar hack, I’ve found that the modifier keys (command, shift, etc.) and the onscreen keyboard on the side of sidecar actually make editing with the Pencil actually work when you’re holding the iPad.

I really like the way Adobe illustrator works in iPad.
As you guys have already merged with Adobe, its easy for you guys to have a discussion with Adobe team on the UX.

One thing that would do the job is adding support for Figma Font service on iPad. As figma.com works nicely on Safari, the thing that lacks most is access to custom fonts installed on iPad OS. Maybe users would not mind waiting for proper application for longer time in that case. 😉

Figurative is nice, but it is abandoned by the author and with each OS update its usability is worsening.

I really like using my iPad pro to work on - but the only app that doesn’t work there properly is now Figma.

Could we either have the iPad app support the Figma design tools, or else support it better/properly in Safari on the iPad?

I’m thinking a lot of people are asking for this, would like this? 🤔

I would love to see the full Figma experience on my iPad too. I’d love to make it my primary work device. I don’t really understand what is blocking this from happening today 🧐
