Adding my +1. Was trying to finagle rows of label & value pairs inside containers to wrap on smaller screens and was sad to see I reached the limitations of auto-layout. Hope this ones coming soon in the pipeline!

If you need a workaround, you can use the Auto Layout Wrapper | Figma Community plugin… Love to see this natively supported by Figma, but for the time being.

I have been looking at Framer recently and all of these autolayout woes have been resolved with an easy to use layout engine with all the props that make sense for designing for web.

Display by Stack or Grid with all the relevant props

its like magic…

CleanShot 2022-12-01 at 17.16.51@2x
Min Width… Max width… even min height… all in web relevant types (px, %, FR) !

Not sure how a small team at Framer can have all these features live and yet Figma still lags behind? Granted, Framer is not the best in other ways however they are not far off being an excellent web design app…

Greg_Schneider

+1 this would be amazing!

Surprised it hasn’t been implemented yet.

How is Framer these days? I used it back when you had to write everything in CoffeeScript. Figma’s strength is wire-framing, but its prototyping is almost useless. I’m guessing that Framer is great for prototyping. How is it for wire-framing?
