Revolutionary idea, I know.Currently, when someone requests edit access to a file, the admin gets a friendly little "Approve" button. What that button doesn't mention: clicking it silently adds a Full/Dev seat at €15–20/month to your invoice. No price shown, no seat-type info, no confirmation step. You find out when your card gets charged.Suggested enhancement:- Show the actual cost on the approval dialog and in the request email (e.g. "Approving will add 1 Full seat: €20/month")- Add a confirmation step for any action that creates a recurring charge — like literally every other subscription product manages to do- Bonus: let admins approve as view-only by default instead of auto-upgrading to paid seatsI'm sure this is just an oversight and not a deliberate design choice that quietly grows ARR. Either way, EU regulators have a word for interfaces that hide the financial consequences of a click until the invoice arrives, so it might be worth fixing before they get to it.

Feature Request: Canvas MinimapI’d love to see a Canvas Minimap added to Figma, similar to the minimap in VS Code.When working on large and complex Figma files, it can be difficult to keep track of where you are on the canvas. A small minimap in the corner could show a zoomed-out view of the entire canvas, with a highlighted area indicating the current viewport.It would be especially useful if users could drag the viewport within the minimap to quickly navigate to different areas of the canvas, or click on any area to jump there.This would make navigating large files much faster and more intuitive.Suggested features: Zoomed-out overview of the entire canvas Highlighted rectangle showing the current viewport Drag to navigate Click to jump to an area Show/hide option

Request:Provide an option to easily duplicate or backup files via an API Reasoning:The REST API comes with a lot of options, but it doesn’t allow you to copy files, projects or teams.There’s an option to download files, but not as uploadable content (i.e. as .FIG), nor is there any option to duplicate them, if they are e.g. used as a template for another team.Possible (i.e. my) use case:I work in an enterprise. We have a base design system with tokens that we hand out to external agencies and do some automatic checks via different APIs. I would like to automate the duplication process of these files completely. However there’s no good option to do this at the current moment.

As an admin, when declining an upgrade request, I’d love to add a personalised message so that I can inform the user why their request is declined.

When we make changes to multiple screen that were marked “Ready for dev” (for example, when updating or swapping a component across several screens), the “Ready for dev” symbol turns yellow indicating a change was made. When clicking on it, we can add a description (of what changed) and update the status so it goes green again.Problem is, there is no way to update the change description in bulk. I copy the change note and click on individual screens, paste the note and then update it. This is very tedious.The alternative is to select multiple screens, remove the status, and then mark them as “Ready for dev” again. But in this case, we can’t add a description.The change description is a useful feature that adds value through the changelog in dev mode. I think there should be a way to select multiple screens and just update the description in one place so that it gets updated in bulk.

I’m currently using Figjam to make some very complex, and very LARGE maps. It feels like the connector noodles are a kilometer long! But that’s exactly why I’m doing it in Figmjam, I want the stuff to stay conencted, no matter how far apart I move them. I know it’s not what most people are using it for, but it would be so cool to select a connector and be able to “jump” or “fast travel” to each of its ends, so that I can trace what it’s connected to.

It would be helpful to automatically generate and maintain a list of all places that link to a specific destination.In my spec, I define common rules in a central location and link to them from every place where they apply. When a rule changes, there is currently no easy way to identify all the places affected by that change.An automatically updated “Linked from” list would let developers quickly find every affected place and update them accordingly. This would eliminate the need to maintain the list manually, saving time and reducing the risk of missed updates.

I use the arc tool for a few things. One specifically to create circular progress indicators. It would be nice if we could throw on the to-do list, adding variables to set the Start, Sweep, and Ratio here. (Make sure sweep and ratio populate as percentage) Imagine being able to create the component with conditions where on resize, those variable change. That could be helpful. Thanks.

When I copy assets from Illustrator and then paste into Figma, it pastes as a raster image. Keep it as a vector when I do this workflow.

Coming from a design org where designers with full-seats have a variety of workflow-types. Some designers leverage AI heavily while others do not, thus some designers burn through AI credits and others have a generous amount that go to waste in that AI credit cycle. This trend can vary, of course, so as an admin, I think it would benefit our organization with some type of allocation or redistribution of AI credits to those seats who rely on them during a given credit cycle—credits that are technically available within our organization. It could even be a designer-to-designer interaction where Designer A shares 1000 credits with Designer B if they know they don’t need all their credits that cycle.Is anyone else seeing this trend in their organization, or see this as a potential scenario? I want to make sure we’re getting the most for our money and optimizing resources across the team.

We have hundreds of users in which AI credits are allocated but not used. Meanwhile, we have a few collaborators who are VERY involved with Figma Make and therefore the credit system Figma has willfully chosen (Adobe for example has no credits/plans for credit usage) is not working for us. Dev seats and Full seats should be able to volunteer/share their AI credits for super users. Otherwise the majority of our users are paying for features they are not using (that’s very unsustainable from a business perspective).

We recently switched from professional to the organizational account. Now I’m busy setting up the teams and projects. Now we are faced with the problem that the overview of the teams is becoming very cluttered. Figma now only offers a grid view. Here we are actually missing a list view option. In addition, it is also useful if we have a search and sorting functionality. We have created 35 teams to divide our work. Our organization makes various software products, but we also make custom software for customers. The number of teams created makes the All teams page very cluttered.

It would be really nice if I could just search the version history to find specific saves, instead of having to scroll through the entire list. This becomes especially annoying if I have a lot of versions saved and am searching for a very old one. Search / Filters that would be nice: text search date filter creator filter

would it be possible to add a moveable anchor point that can be switched on and off.so that when ever i pause the motion design the time line cursor (time indicating cursor ) starts at the anchor point it is a pain to fine tune animations when i have to drag the time line cursor to where i want or wait for the loop to finish to start at my spacific point.this feature would be very use full for fine tuneing specifice areas in the motion design that require precision.this feature could be upgraded to have multiple anchor point each toggleable with shortcuts say like the number keys (1,2,3,4,5).

I’d love having a maximum of 4s animation cause feel things just needs more time :) 

The Problem:Currently, Figma only supports text-based searching inside files and workspace. When working with large design systems or migrating old projects, finding a specific layout, icon, or component based only on a visual screenshot is extremely time-consuming or nearly impossible if the layers are poorly named.The Proposal:Introduce a "Search by Image" feature (Reverse Image Search) within the file browser and canvas. Users should be able to upload an image or paste a screenshot into the search bar, and Figma's system should locate identical or visually similar frames, components, or instances.How it would help:Efficiency: Instantly locate old assets without knowing their exact text names. Design System Cleanup: Easily find duplicate or unlinked components across large teams. Onboarding: Help new designers find existing patterns faster by using visual references.

I love being able to build animations right inside of Figma and having Engineers be able to scrub through and preview and inspect them. But I’ve already encountered a major hurdle.I’m sure there must be a way to do this - but I’ve tried every which way I could think of, with no luck...I have an animated component (a custom spinner), that uses a few shapes that animate their position, scale, and opacity. Now I need to scale instances of the component to different sizes to suit various applications within my system, and I can’t seem to do it. When I use the scale tool, the static component scales without issue, but when viewed as a prototype, the position properties are all out of whack. Do I really need to recreate the animation every time I need it at a slightly different size? That would be really inconvenient (not to mention a lot of math to figure out my new position values for every keyframe for every size.) I would like to suggest adding support for linear gradients in drop shadow effects. Currently, only solid colors are available for shadows, and I was wondering if there is any specific reason why gradient shadows are not supported yet.This feature would be very useful for creating more modern and creative UI designs directly within Figma without relying on external tools or workarounds. 

Currently, Figma Slides on the mobile app only allows users to view and run slides. However, when giving a presentation, many of us connect our computer to a projector to display the slides while wanting to use our phone as a companion device to view presenter notes. It would be extremely helpful if the Figma mobile app could sync in real time with the slides being presented on desktop, so that the presenter can:  See their notes directly on the mobile app Follow along with the current slide in sync with the presentation Use the phone as a discreet presenter tool, without needing a second screen or printed notes  This would bring Figma Slides closer to the functionality of other professional presentation tools and make it much more practical for real-world use. I hope the Figma team will consider adding this feature, as it would significantly improve the experience for presenters using Figma Slides in professional settings.

It would be nice to have a way to undelete a comment. I accidentally deleted a comment when I meant to resolve it. I could not get the comment back. I could not even Undo deleting the comment.Can you please add a trashcan like feature to recover deleted comments?

I would like an option to hug content until the container it is in is too small. For instance, I am making a tab bar where the tabs are set to fill so they adjust with screen sizes. The title on each has an info icon to the right. The text has to be set to hug for the icon to stay right next to the text. However, that means if the text is long, when the tabs shrink the text extends out rather than wrapping. I would like the option to set the hugged text to wrap when it extends past the parent container without having to manually change it a each breakpoint.

I know this has been requested a handful of times but want to riase again. I would love to see the ability to add sub folders within project files. I work for a large organisation in which we have multiple teams and products. I work within the website team which has a whole bunch of delivery squads within in. We use the current project folders for each of our squads. The enables us to keep all the squads under one website team within the organisation structure. Having sub folders would be super beneficial.

It would be great if there was a way for Figma to retain the crop settings on images of the same/similar dimensions so that we don’t have to re-crop each time we swap images in Figma Slides (and any other Figma program). This is especially helpful for showcasing product mockups, where we may want to frame more tightly around a logo and avoid resetting the crop every tie we change it out. See below for examples -- when dropping in a new photo that has the same dimensions as the original photo, it keeps the “Crop” settings applied in the fill panel, however it behaves more like “Fill” as it reverts the fill dimensions back to the width or height constraint of the frame. It would be great if replacing image fills functioned more like InDesign, where it maintains the proportions of the image inside the frame rather than of the frame itself.   

Can you guys make the file management system a little more packed up. For example, A folder for personal Files, another for for templates and Favorite is already there… it will be so much helpful for some of designers who had a lots of personal practiced project… Thank you…
