I have created the illusion of folder-ing, but it is still different from being able to organize something properly. Please get this into the software; it would enhance its functionality tremendously.
I often create emtpy pages called something like “___” to create dividers between pages like on the attached image. It would be handy to have real dividers.
I would be super helpful if we could use the left panel more efficiently and create subfolders to the parent folders. Currently we only can have one level of folders per section.
My team has a need to organize pages in a Figma document into folders or some kind of organized grouping that can be expanded and collapsed. This would make a Figma document much easier to navigate, which is an issue for some of our users, especially those from other functional roles who are new or unfamiliar with Figma.
This would be consistent with mental models of other IA schemas, such as File Explorers and other software programs used by designers and developers.
Thanks for the feedback! We’ve merged your topic with an existing similar feature request to ensure our team has an accurate gauge of interest from the community.
I would love to see an option to group pages, without having to create pages simply for title text and dividers between pages that relate to a certain section, in the pages tab. To avoid the tab getting way too long, a grouping/folder feature would help immensely!
It would be fantastic to have the ability to insert a ‘break’ in the Pages panel instead of creating a new page, leaving it blank, and then just naming it something like ‘-----------’. Having the ability to have a text label center/left/right aligned with the line would be a nice add as well.
Yes PLEASE! It´s really essential and I don’t understand why such a standard hasn’t been implemented for a long time. everyone is struggling with this in some way. Especially when it comes to design systems: without folders it´s really hard to organize.
Please Figma! This is a topic for a long time now and it´s really a important one! Especially in lager files and design systems it´s really hard to keep the overview and organize it well for all users. PLEASE – why is nothing being done about such an important issue? the first entry was in 2021!
