Page dividers or spacing? 🤔 Cause this hack to use a page to fake it is in 99% of all Figma files I’m in.

Does anyone else experience this?

Yes this is much needed for files with lots of pages, which are often useful for a single project

I already sent the first batch of invitations.

Edit: This post is outdated. I reposted the link to the plugin in a newer post.

How did you changed the page color to grey?

I have created the illusion of folder-ing, but it is still different from being able to organize something properly. Please get this into the software; it would enhance its functionality tremendously.

It would be great if it was applied, I have a hard time managing this mess

I often create emtpy pages called something like “___” to create dividers between pages like on the attached image. It would be handy to have real dividers.

As stated, if we could Be able to nest and collapse pages we would have much cleaner and accessible sidebars.

Considering the radio silence from Figma, I will just assume we will never get this frature.

OH YES OH YES I want that actually.

Hello,

I would be super helpful if we could use the left panel more efficiently and create subfolders to the parent folders. Currently we only can have one level of folders per section.

Thanks for your feedback, @Lisa_Magness!

We’ve merged your feature request with a similar one to ensure our team has an accurate view of interest from the community.

My team has a need to organize pages in a Figma document into folders or some kind of organized grouping that can be expanded and collapsed. This would make a Figma document much easier to navigate, which is an issue for some of our users, especially those from other functional roles who are new or unfamiliar with Figma.

This would be consistent with mental models of other IA schemas, such as File Explorers and other software programs used by designers and developers.

Hey @Michelle_Lamond,

Thanks for the feedback! We’ve merged your topic with an existing similar feature request to ensure our team has an accurate gauge of interest from the community.

I would love to see an option to group pages, without having to create pages simply for title text and dividers between pages that relate to a certain section, in the pages tab. To avoid the tab getting way too long, a grouping/folder feature would help immensely!

Hi @christoffertun , thank you for your feedback! Others in the community have requested a similar idea, I merged your topic with them.

It would be fantastic to have the ability to insert a ‘break’ in the Pages panel instead of creating a new page, leaving it blank, and then just naming it something like ‘-----------’. Having the ability to have a text label center/left/right aligned with the line would be a nice add as well.

Hi @Justin_Lancaster ,

Others in the community have requested something similar here: Page Dividers / Folders / Group pages together . I merged your topic with this one to have all feedback in the same place! Do not also forget to vote up!

Plz add!!

Anyone know if there any plugins that currently offer this?

Page management like Notion would be good.

This would be incredibly helpful for our organization. Figma, please prioritize!

This would be a really great solution to organize better. please add this feature 🙏

Yes PLEASE! It´s really essential and I don’t understand why such a standard hasn’t been implemented for a long time. everyone is struggling with this in some way. Especially when it comes to design systems: without folders it´s really hard to organize.

An option to group pages within a project would undoubtedly make the experience even smoother and more efficient.

Please, a much needed feature that nobody seems to consider. Please Figma, be those people 🙏

Please Figma! This is a topic for a long time now and it´s really a important one! Especially in lager files and design systems it´s really hard to keep the overview and organize it well for all users. PLEASE – why is nothing being done about such an important issue? the first entry was in 2021!
