When in a Figma file, I’d like to be able to add a new page that’s a documentation type rather than a design type. The format of the active space would be like word or google docs or something similar, but a document editor with pages and not a free zoom/scroll space.

This would help centralize documentation for design systems as well as for product managers and developers to have a more familiar space to put documentation.

Hey @Trista_Zukoski , thanks for sharing your idea. We’ll pass it along to our team for consideration. Do not also forget to vote up your idea (next to the topic’s title)!

In the meantime as a workaround, you can use frames to simulate document pages (for example: create frames that mimic the dimensions of standard document pages (e.g., 8.5 x 11 inches or A4 size)) and also, define consistent text styles and explore plugins that can all contribute to a more organized and familiar documentation environment for your design systems, product managers, and developers.
