Disable commenting for 'view only' access

We work in a large company with over 100k employees and have very strict rules on how to share content with clients. What we are missing are advanced sharing options for “only-view”. Sometimes, we want to share content as a ‘view-only link’ with the client to receive comments and feedback directly on the artboards. Other times, we want to share as a ‘view-only link’ but without the possibility for viewers to leave comments. This crucial option is currently unavailable for us, and it would be great if this feature could be added to the sharing options.

              The same feature would also be much appreciated on Figma Slides, were you might want to share a Deck with multiple people wich do not know each other. (And for them it makes no sense to see each other’s comments, or to have comments at all.)

                I would absolutely love this feature! It’s not always useful that everybody can comment on files, I would like to be able to turn this feature on and off when needed.

                    Yes, this would be a really important feature - to help lock down a file from comments, or even lock individual page(s) (would be ideal) from comments.

                      Not being able to share a Figma Slides portfolio or deck with potential collaborators without the option to disable comments is crazy to me. This should be such an easy fix!
