I agree. Navigating large files can get out of hand quickly. It would also be cool if you could leave navigation pins – then just see the list and shoot off to that location. Would be even more cool if it worked across Figma files, as we have like 60 of them now and can’t find anything. The work of design has gone from Design to file management.

But yeah, just a back button to retrace your steps would be amazing.

Love this idea! In general to simplify the navigation - maybe it could be nice to be able to open file pages in new tab as well? 🧐

Totally agree! This is a real pain when clicking ‘From this file’ which takes you to the main component. It’d be great to have return to where you were.

In C4D you can undo a viewport position change – multiple times (similar to a normal undo) by using the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+Z
