Hello, I’m trying to work out if it’s possible to change text colour within a table cell on FigJam. If I choose a change of colour it is only allowing me to change the background colour. I’ve tried hacking it but to no prevail, any ideas? Thanks Please search for existing topics before posting! Press 🔍 at the upper right to search.

Does anyone else find the pink for slots and the purple for auto layout too similar? personally it feels so close (I use dark mode and don't have great vision) I find myself having to bend over my computer like a cocktail shrimp to tell which is which. can I edit this color? does anyone else have this issue?

I wish there is a native “embed” option in FigJam where we can embed any links from photos and videos without having to download and upload them to figjam. Canva has a simila feature which is really convenient.

I wondering if someday I will be able to create a custom format within Figma Slides. I need to create presentations for a huge format, as the screens for Google CEO with the size of 6240x2160 pixels. As I can't do using Microsoft PowerPoint I have hopes that I will be able to customize the size at Figma Slides using images and videos in 4k and working online with my team. It's what I'm dreaming for.

Once a history is established, the UI forces users to use the AI agent to move files.Why this is broken: Credit Waste: The AI treats "moving a file" as a full generation task, often rewriting the entire code block. Using AI credits for basic file system management is inefficient and costly. Workflow Friction: Manual uploads are restricted to the root directory, preventing users from maintaining clean project architectures without burning through their prompt limits. Requested Fix: Enable a permanent manual file manager that allows users to upload, move, and organize files across folders at any stage of the project without invoking the AI agent or consuming credits.

Hey folks! 👋 I was using Figma’s Swap Library feature recently and came across a little hiccup that I think could use some improvement. You know how it works: when you swap libraries, Figma tries to match styles between the old and new library based on the token names, right? But… when there’s a name change or a slight difference in naming conventions, it just says “None found,” and that’s it. 😅 You’re left with elements still tied to the old library, which can be a bit frustrating, especially when you’ve spent time updating your naming structure to make things more organized or meaningful. What’s the Ask? Can we get an option to manually map these “None found” tokens to styles in the new library? Why This Matters This would be super handy for situations like: You’ve changed alpha/black/20 to opacity/black/20 in the new library. Sure, the names are different, but it’s still essentially the same style! Being able to manually link these would save so much hassle. You re

 Mind map in theory is amazing to visualise complex dependencies and structure but lack of functionality like turning lists into maps, exporting maps into text etc. Changing the direction of the map? Currently nodes are spreading from left to right, not right to left, top to bottom etc.and on top of everything - AI SLOPPPPPP. Let me work, not generate some meaningless content...

It would be super cool to be able to work on slides both in Slides AND in the FigJam where most workshop content is in. I imagine some kind of widget-y solution, where you can add one or more slides to the FigJam, for both viewing and editing directly in the FigJam. That way we don’t have to shuffle between numerous files, but can gather everything related to the project in a repository kind of format. That’s all. On my wishlist ✨

ya’ll I am in the weeds right now. 😩 my fellow designer and i audit each other’s designs to make sure we’ve covered all our bases as looking at your own design for months makes you blind to some things 🫠 this means we “@” each other and make comments on any place that is missing a variable, needs a design tweak, or addresses logic concerns. you know what this also means? 100+ comments in one Figma file across multiple pages wherever we have assets built problems: i try to resolve comments one at a time in the order that they were commented. this means i open and close the comment panel. once i close it, the scroll resets and i have to scroll all the way down and manually search for the comment i was just on. I can type a keyword - but I’m trying to also resolve the next comment where i’m mentioned. although you can open a comment within a mini window and toggle back and forth through the comments in this window, it automatically closes when you resolve it instead of go

The filter to find variable fonts in Figma is fairly useless. Every font that has a font weight is considered ‘variable’.If you ask me - we should be able to filter further down, by selecting the properties we want to manipulate to find fonts that have those properties.And...let’s just say fonts that have the standard bold/italic modifiers should be removed from the ‘variable’ font list.

Good morning ! Given that we can put keywords in a description for each variant, is it possible to display the variants directly in the asset list, in relation to the words entered and present in the description? Because currently if we enter a description in each variant of a component, when we type a search with words present in a description of a variant, it only displays the main component directly and not the direct variant. When working with local variables and tokens I find myself constantly opening and closing the local variables panel. It would be nice to have a shortcut added for displaying and hiding that panel. If there is not a shortcut added in first version, then this action could be listed in the MacOS menu bar as a command, so that a custom MacOS shortcut could be added,

When viewing a spec, the big blue button is to request a full seat instaed of logging in or viewing the spec, which is the most likely case. This results in constant accidental ‘so and so as requested a full seat’ daily. Its the most annoying thing in the world and causes mistakes from my team members approving it.

Add support for mobile configuration profiles on macOS. These are profiles that can be deployed to computers to centrally manage application settings in a secure, consistent, and tamper-resistant way.Currently, settings can only be managed by administrators by placing a plist file in ~/Library/Preferences or /Library/Preferences.  Mostly I like to use figma on browser (with fullscreen) just because it has more space, because there is no tabbar on browser. So, my suggestion is, there should be an option to hide topbar (or tabbar) on figma app, so users on smaller screen like macbook air will have more canvas view. Most people keep open a single tab, Why to waste entire screen width with tabbar?.Something like “Dock” on mac os. You can hide it, but when mouse hovers on that area it will be shown.  

Inputs are one of the most common UI design elements out there. But when you have to use them in a prototype there isn’t a good way to show what they look like when entering text. It’d also be great if we could trigger validation events like on a password input for example. This would bring more fidelity to my prototypes than just about anything.

With the interactive components, a variant can now have a tooltip. But unfortunately hover and clickactions are still mutual exclusive. I’m designing for a desktop application and having a tooltip per inputelement/button is crucial.

With the increasing popularity of iPads among creative professionals and the device's capabilities now rivaling many laptops — especially with Apple Pencil support and desktop-class processors — it’s surprising that a leading design platform like Figma hasn't released a fully functional iPad app. Is this a matter of strategic prioritization, where Figma believes the current user base doesn’t demand it strongly enough to justify development resources? Or is it due to technical limitations, perhaps stemming from the complexities of maintaining feature parity with the desktop/web version on iPadOS? Alternatively, is Figma's vision more aligned with a cloud-first, desktop-class browser experience, where portability across devices takes a backseat to collaborative infrastructure? If so, does this approach overlook the rising trend of mobile-first or tablet-based design workflows? It would be insightful to understand if Figma simply hasn't seen enough ROI or user behavior validation to green

I’m trying to build an iOS app in Make to use very specific features and behaviors that Swift has, one of them being Dynamic Type. Is there a way for me to tell Make to use Swift instead of tailwind and react?

TL;DR: Today, only Variant properties can be set directly by prototype interactions. For Boolean, Text, and Instance Swap, the only path is to bind the property to a global variable and use Set variable from outside. This means component behavior cannot be encapsulated inside the component itself — which has become a structural blocker now that Figma is positioning its files as the source of truth for AI-generated code and apps. The proposalExtend the `Change to` action (or add a new Set property action) so that any component property — Boolean, Text, Instance Swap — can be set directly by a prototype interaction defined inside the component itself. Same mental model as Variant, applied to all property types. Hi Figma team 👋This is a feature request for a Radial Layout system, distinct from Radial repeat.Instead of repeating a single object, this would allow arranging multiple distinct elements along an arc or full circle with: configurable angle range (e.g. 90°, 180°, 360°) controlled spacing/distribution along the curve automatic tangential alignment of each item The goal is to support structured radial compositions, similar to Auto Layout but for circular structures, useful for: UI card stacks / carousels radial menus motion design layouts circular visualizations This would make radial UI patterns much faster and more consistent to build natively.

Hello Figma Team,I would like to request a feature where clicking a layer/frame in the left sidebar automatically centers or zooms the canvas to that selected object.This would be very helpful for large projects with many layers and frames, making navigation much faster and more efficient.Currently, users need to manually use shortcuts like Shift + 2 after selecting a layer.Suggested option: Add a preference setting: "Auto focus canvas when selecting layer" Thank you.
