I want to make a prototype where something changes when user scrolls content. I want to keyboard collapse when user starts scrolling content, but it’s impossible to do with drag action. Or it feels unnatural Or am I missing a way to do it with existing tools?
The left side bar with agents, files and assets is taking up too much space for things I dont need to design. I design on a small laptop and I want to minimise it as its just too much UI.
I would love to be able to create one prototype across the pages in a file that resembles an actual website. This would be ideal for bigger projects and would be easier to maintain as well. We can connect the component libraries across all the pages anyways. A way to connect the prototype would be great in my opinion and that will give Figma a big leg up on other platforms. What do you guys think?
I've been using the Figma MCP for a while and wanted to share where it's been falling short for me, because I think it points at a positioning question.Right now the MCP feels built almost entirely for Design→Code. That path does work — but in an inefficient way and in it's also the part Figma already handles well in manual operation (Dev Mode, Code Connect, Make), so it's not really where I was hoping an MCP would help me. The work I actually wanted to bring AI into is different:Reviewing UX copy Inventorying details that are painful to audit by hand — inconsistent states, missing variants, token drift, naming gaps Content management across many frames Most importantly, getting an AI to follow the logic of a design, not just its pixels A lot of this already sits beyond what Figma's built-in features and plugins can do, so it felt like the natural place for an AI layer to add something new. But in practice it's been rough: every call is slow and very token-heavy, I end up stacking mult
Playing around with Figma Motion and seeing a big chance to dump After Effects for explainer type graphics. However… currently the video export doesn’t support 25 or 50 fps. Which is what we Europeans shoot our videos at. Would love to see it added, so I can more easily integrate it into my video workflow.
Hi Figma Team,I'd love to see a native table component system built directly into Figma, similar to what Whimsical offers.Right now, creating tables in Figma requires manually building grids with rectangles and text layers, which is time-consuming and hard to maintain. When content changes, the whole structure needs to be rebuilt manually. This is a significant friction point for designers working on data-heavy interfaces, documentation, or print layouts.Whimsical handles this beautifully — you can create a table in seconds, add or remove rows and columns dynamically, and the layout adjusts automatically. The cells resize to fit content, and the whole thing feels like a first-class design element rather than a workaround. What I'd love to see in Figma:- A dedicated Table tool in the toolbar- Dynamic row/column addition and removal- Auto-resizing cells based on content- Ability to style headers, borders, and alternating rows natively- Easy copy-paste from spreadsheets (Excel, Google Shee
Selecting color styles/variables, text styles, or anything else from one of these narrow and short popup windows in Figma is like trying to read a book through a keyhole - a major usability issue considering that selecting these things is one of the most common operations that a designer does. I have modified a few lines of CSS in Figma to demonstrate the glory of a wider and taller color styles window, where style names are not truncated so that I can actually read them, and my screen space is being used to its full potential. Sadly, the changes don’t persist after the window is closed. This would be a very nice and probably easy little big update, eh Figma? 🙏 A few lines of CSS can improve the lives of many.
I've been testing Figma Agent for Auto Layout conversion and screen recreation workflows. While the results are promising, I encountered a few recurring issues and have a suggestion that could improve the experience.1. Auto Layout Application IssuesWhen working with existing screens that do not have Auto Layout properly configured, the Agent struggles to apply Auto Layout correctly.Observed behavior: The Agent often modifies or breaks the existing layout structure. It applies Auto Layout only to some frames while skipping others. Multiple attempts with additional prompts, feedback, and explicit rules did not consistently improve the results. 2. Screen Recreation from Existing DesignsWhen recreating screens from scratch, the overall layout is good, but asset preservation needs improvement.Observed behavior: Images are often replaced with different images. Icons are substituted with similar but incorrect alternatives. The recreated screen visually resembles the original but does
We’re trying to scale creative assets using templates made in Figma Buzz through Claude Code!Right now, we have writers’ agents creating CSVs with copy elements that we’ll upload to Buzz, but then we have a review agent to call out design or copy revisions. Currently, our solution is to manually upload, then copy/paste into a regular Figma design file for the agent to then review. Wondering if there’s a way we can have this workflow happen seamlessly through Claude!
Hi! My team exclusively uses Figma as the source-of-truth for implementation across various verticals: product, design engineering… We heavily rely on deeplinks to cross-reference other relevant files, flows, screens or resources to make the hand-off files easier to navigate for engineers. Our problem is, after clicking a link that leads to another frame in the same file, there’s no way to go back to the previous page: People need to manually navigate the file hierarchy and sections organisation to retrace their steps. Easy when you’re the person who came up with all these flows and know the file org by heart, but hard for anyone else. 😅 A floating action similar to the “Return to instance” button we have when shortcutting to a master component would be ideal. A keyboard shortcut to do that would be good enough. Any thoughts here?
All the AI features forced on me is annoyingly disruptive when I have no interest in ever using them. Would love the be able to hide all of them like the new Agents sidebar/chat and the “Make an image” feature that I keep accidentally clicking. A sincere thank you to whoever added the ability to hide Agents on canvas.Hope there’s plans to let users opt out of AI features…
Is there a way to export the .csv from Figma Sites as a .csv or any other file? I created my CMS inside of Figma Sites and would like to continue editing in external app like excel because it’s such a pain to edit fields inside of the CMS editor. Thank you.
We need the ability for variables in modes to have a nothing, blank, null, or empty value. For example, filled vs ghost buttons. In filled I have a fill color but in the ghost button it needs to be clear—so either alpha 0 (it works but it’s not elegant) or nothing (also not supported) for the variable mode to work properly. Otherwise I can’t use variables for changing themes on objects like these.
Basic math inside variables will be extremely useful and has been requested many times and has been ignored...why? In a world of responsive design we need the ability to set a base font size to be able to use REMs, that’s just one of the many benefits which I think many designers will be very happy with.
Figma search seems to be working with fuzzy search, If I search for “Mord” I get a file that has “Moodboard” in it, probably because “M, o, r, d” exist within the word.Since we are dealing with a lot of projects and files, it would be very helpful to be able to force exact term matching, sort of like Google does (“Mord” would only show results that have that exact string, whereas Mord would behave as-is.The current (smart, but in practical terms lacking) search is a bit of a blocker for my firm (and probably not only mine).
Hello Figma Team,Thank you for granting me access to Figma AI. As a mother of two, time-saving tools make a real difference in helping me balance work and family, and I am excited to start using these new features in my workflow. I truly appreciate the care your team puts into improving Figma, and I am grateful for the opportunity to explore Figma AI. Thank you again for your support and for building such a valuable product. With gratitude,Evelina
I am trying to use the new annotation tool in Dev Mode. I have 2 questions: I have made annotations on a frame in a Figma project. When I move this frame to another project, the annotations do not move. Is there a way to move the annotations too? During annotating frames, is it possible to annotate multiple components/frames together?
Hi, Free plan is a generous plan for sure. As Figma is a collaborative tool, it would be great if there is a Micro-Enterprise Plan [Startup Plan] Starter [Free] → Professional is for Individuals Startup [$99/Year] → Enterprise can be for Companies Zoho provides Free 5 Email accounts to start with, which helps startup companies to work together from day 1. Likewise, Figma Startup Plan will help Startup companies. Figma Startup Plan - $99/year 10 Figma and 10 FigJam Files Max 5 Users and 25 Collaborators Plugins and Templates Mobile App Max 100 Shared and Private Projects Max 10 Version history Max 5 Teams, 5 Team Libraries Advance Prototyping Max 10 GB Centralized File Management Single Sign-on [official domains only] Etc

Hello Figma Team,I’m trying to use a global map interface and place location pins/dots for outbreaks. It’s just a prototype for my pandemic prevention project but I basically want a map where you can select these pins/dots that are interactive on the map and pull up details of the outbreak zones.Example: Thank you.Kind regards,Nandini Singh
I’m crying to see the “color theory” in Figma – as in Color Wheel - Color Palette Generator | Figma All the classic color theory, the accents, opposite or adjacent color, it’s built on the classic artistic color wheel, which is RYB, not RGB. This means the opposite color pairs are red-green, orange-blue and yellow-purple/violet — not red-cyan, yellow-blue and green-purple as on the RGB wheel. If you apply the RYB algorithms to the RGB, the results are wrong, unpleasant, disturbing. See the “correct” color combinations on the RYB wheel, check the opposite and adjacent colors work together much better in my tool Paletino BETA (v1.09b) – it’s not finished yet, some things (like exports) do not work, but the core does work fine. I’ve been insterested in this topic for 25 years and I created a couple of color mixing applications and tools and I really believe the Figma approach and using classic color theory with the RGB is wrong. Big mistake producing worse color combinations.
Version control for designs or “GIT for designers” inside Figma 🙂: Master design; Branching; Merging changes.
Hello!I'd like to make a suggestion. Integrating Google DOC or spreadsheet modules into Figma would significantly simplify the process of filling out pages or validating user flows according to requirements. Inserting a text document slot would help you stay immersed in Figma while working, retrieving text and reviewing requirements without leaving the program. In the future, using documents within Figma would expand the capabilities of AI in assisting designers with routine work. I'd be happy if this idea resonates with you and you'd consider it.
Is Nano Banana Pro coming back? I noticed it’s not an option in the model selection dropdown anymore when generating images. I strongly favor it in comparison to Nano Banana 2
When working in frames with Clip content enabled, I still end up selecting layers that are outside the visible area of the frame.Current behavior Even with Clip content ON, using Cmd/Ctrl+click (selection cycling) can select layers that are clipped or fully outside the frame’s visible bounds. In Dev Mode, it’s also easy to select elements that are not visible because they’re outside the frame viewport. This causes constant mis-selections, slows down editing, and makes it harder to inspect what’s actually on-screen. Expected behaviorAdd an option to disallow selecting overflow/clipped content (or make selection cycling respect clipping).Ideally: A global preference. When enabled, clicking and Cmd/Ctrl+click selection cycling should ignore layers that are fully outside the frame’s clipped area. Dev Mode selection should optionally prioritize visible content only when a frame is clipped. Why this mattersIn UI work, overflow is often used for shadows, bleed, off-canvas content, or
