Question

Lost Access to my old student account!

wcqsh315

I was logged into an old school email, and after graduating recently, the institution deleted that email address. I wasn’t able to edit the email for the account and now, I cannot sign back in. This was 3 years worth of work 😭 and I would hate to lose it. I have created this temporary account to connect with support teams to get some help. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done!

P.S. this account is a new registerred account so that I can build a reach for you.

Hey @wcqsh315, thank you for reaching out! If you happen to have emails from your old address forwarded to your new one, you could try resetting your password. That might help you bypass the Google Single Sign-On and get back into your Figma account. From there, you’d be able to update your email address directly.

If you don’t have email forwarding set up, no worries — I’m happy to create a support ticket on your behalf. Our support team can start the process of manually updating the email address linked to your Figma account. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to log in and transfer your files over to your new account. To keep things secure, they’ll just need to verify your ownership of the account.

Please let me know how you’d like to proceed. I’m here to help, let me know if something is unclear!

Thank you for your timely contact. Unfortunately, I have not set up email forwarding, so it seems I need you to create a support ticket for me. I can provide all the necessary documentation to prove ownership of the old email address: 201930580024@mail.scut.edu.cn.
