Hello! I am somewhat new designing stuff in Figma, and I have an issue with some animations.I animated a velocimeter in the Motion section to play just when clicking on it, but every time I open an overlay on the same page it triggers the animation to start all over again. I don’t really know how to stop it, and need some help because I couldn’t find any info about this issue.

It’s painful to lose $15 just because I forgot to cancel after a trial run.If a refund isn't possible, please at least show me exactly how to cancel the subscription so this doesn't happen again.When I visit the Help Center, I only get responses from an AI agent that claims it doesn't know or can't find anything. There is no email address to contact Figma support directly; even when I try to submit a support request, the system says they cannot reply to me.Please, I really need your help.

I’m experiencing an issue with Code Layers in Figma Sites.A Code Layer fails to render on the canvas and shows the error message:“Code Layer is not working.”However, the exact same Code Layer renders correctly in Full Preview.I first noticed this with a custom React Code Layer, so I simplified the code step by step to rule out implementation issues. The problem still occurs even with a newly created Code Layer containing only:export default function Test() { return <div>Code Layer Test</div>;}Reproduction steps:Create a new Code Layer in Figma Sites. Replace its code with the minimal example above. Return to the canvas. The Code Layer displays an error instead of its content. Open Full Preview. The same Code Layer renders correctly.I also tested this with a completely new Code Layer, so the issue does not appear to be related to a specific component implementation.Expected behavior:The Code Layer should render on the Figma Sites canvas as well as in Full Preview.Actual beh

My team is having an issue where, in large design files, the Check Designs feature does not work. Whenever we try to use it, the right column stays empty and we can’t apply any changes with it. Now I’m aware that there’s a 25k layer limit for how much you can select, but the items we’re selecting don’t have anywhere near that amount of layers. Our design system as a whole might, but definitely not the items/frames we’re trying to apply changes to. It seemed to work when we first got the feature, but it hasn’t worked in months.Is there something we can do to fix this? Is there something specific that causes this bug? It’s incredibly frustrating to not be able to use this feature. Right column is empty and they also seem to have a loading bar whenever i hover over them. 

Path trim animations on shapes, playing with “Path Trim Start” and “Path Trim End” properties in keyframe do not appear properly in Figma. You can see the values evolving when you play the animation, but the view is not animated.Note : If you export the SVG animations, it looks good, the stroke path is animated correctly in Edge for example.If you draw the object yourself, using the pen, then the path trim animation works proporly in Figma. You can visualise the result. If you flatten a shape (rectangle, elipse, star ...), even if it becomes a vector path (equivalent to what you would draw with the pen), the animation still does not appear in Figma. 

Some properties animations are not supported by SVG. Example : arc sweep. Then you can elaborate an animation in Figma Motion Beta, visualize the result, but when you export, the SVG will be fully static. My example : I was creating a fancy timer, looked great in Figma, I exported in SVG. Preview was static in the browser, and opening the SVG, I could see that no animation keyframes were defined. Could Figma Help indicate the limitation when exporting in SVG. Could the export in SVG indicate the non supported animations used in the project ? 

video image is full, can move correctly. But still have some problems, like in the red box i marked, dots are not supposed shown. I want gif export. but all of them all half only (on the left, there should be two lines) and not move correctly.

Is there a limit to the number of interactions i can have in a single design file?

Our team is noticing that our main design system library is having hundreds of changes flagged in the publishing panel, even after a weekend of not working on the library. The panel shows what’s modified, removed, or added, but isn’t clear what the changes are or what caused them. It’s scary publishing these types of updates because they aren’t coming from our team. Is this something being caused by Figma? How can we feel comfortable publishing so many changes when we weren’t even the ones making them? 

I’m having an issue with file attachments in Figma Make.Files appear to upload successfully through Add context → Add images and files, and Make can see/reference the filename, but it cannot access the actual contents of the attachment.I’ve tested this with both PNG images and PDF files, all within the supported file-size limits.For example, when I upload a PNG logo, Make responds with messages such as:“I cannot access the attachment. The file is not reaching the project filesystem — src/imports/ does not exist and no PNG with that name is anywhere in the workspace.”It then tells me to manually place the image into public/, which isn’t something I can do through the normal Figma Make interface.The same issue occurs with PDFs: Make recognises that a PDF was referenced/attached but says it cannot find or read it.I’ve also tried re-uploading the files and trying new make files, but the behaviour is unchanged.It seems like the attachment is being registered in the chat, but the actual file

Hi everyone,I’m running into an issue when designing interactive flows across frames and I’m not sure if it’s a setting or a bug.The problem: I place a component instance (e.g., a status tag) inside a completed frame. I duplicate the entire frame to show a second screen state in the flow. When I modify the instance in the new frame (e.g., changing the status tag’s text, color, or adding a new tag, these are all variants), the changes sync back to the first frame, making both frames identical. I need each frame to represent a distinct state in the flow. Right now, the only workaround I've found is detaching instances, which ruins component maintainability.Has anyone experienced this, and how can I edit component instances in duplicated frames independently without detaching them?

Hi Figma Support,I’m now facing a problem that our company’s account was registered with an gmail address and now we try to transfer the account and the file to another email address (with our company domain).I would like to know that after I let one team member’s account become the admin, does that mean I can remove the original account?  Plus, the original address owned the annual full seat, would it be possible that i can change another account to the annual full seat from the monthly full seat?Would it be risky that I just delete the original account? Will I loose all my files >< Thanks for your helping~!

I used the AI to generate changes and then the changes claim to have been made but reset after a while which didn't use to happen before, now I have 300 AI credits left. And That’s not fair at all

Hi there!We have a large multibrand system with 17 brands which i’ve inherited. Each brand has 2 primitive collections (standard + colours), and then the semantic collection which houses each brand as a mode.There was no planning for inverse/knockout variants of components, so those needing an on-dark or a flexible background colour (and corresponding text colours) which of course we now need for some brands.In the case of our footer, i had created knockout tokens to sit in the existing eg: font/colour/interactive/text button group and then created a new variant of the footer to map them too and added a boolean switch between the default and inverse themes. But is there another way (without refactoring all of our tokens)

Hello,I thought Slots was the feature we had all been waiting for. Unfortunately, I just found out it's not. As soon as I started using it, it created major issues in my design system and essentially broke all of my responsive components that rely on variants to switch between desktop and mobile layouts. The problem is that it's now too late for me because I've already migrated everything to Slots.For example, I have a Bento component with two variants: Desktop and Mobile. Both variants share the same Slot property. Naturally, the layout inside the Bento needs to be different for each device to be truly responsive, while the content and overall structure remain exactly the same.However, if I edit a single layer inside the Slot in the Desktop variant and then switch to the Mobile variant, it overrides the mobile layout and breaks everything, even though the structure is 100% identical.I'm experiencing this issue with every component that uses Slots.At first, I thought I might need two s

I cannot figure out how to use auto layout space between like this Youtube video - I have 2 auto layout components that are in a auto layout component wit 1440 width.  How can I Put equal spacing between so they are positioned to the front and end of the nav. How can I add padding to the left side of the logo (first component)?
