Hi everyone,After the UI3 update, the Export section completely disappeared from the right sidebar in Design mode.Yesterday it was there as usual, at the bottom of the Design panel. Today it's completely gone.I have already checked everything:I'm in Design mode. I'm the owner of the file. The right sidebar is visible. I selected frames, components, vectors, and images. I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the Design panel. I also created a new export setting before, so I know exactly where the Export section should be.The Export section is simply no longer there.If I try to export using keyboard shortcuts, Figma shows the message:"You are not allowed to export this file."Has anyone experienced the same issue after the UI3 update?Did the Export section disappear for anyone else? If so, how did you fix it?Thank you!

Hello! I have been part of a Figma for Education plan at various points while I have been in school, using the Figma account that I have always used (which is attached to my gmail address). I, in fact, am currently on a Figma for Education plan using this account. However, when I go to try to re-verify (because I’m still in school) it will not allow me to even apply with my current account because it is not tied to my institutional e-mail. All my work is attached to my current Figma account and I don’t want to set up a new one with my university login just to re-verify; this especially makes no sense to me as I currently have access to an Education plan using my gmail address. Talking to the stupid AI assistant obviously did nothing. Is there genuinely no way to extend the education status that *legitimately exists on my current account* without creating an entirely new one?

My figma student plan wont renew after all the verifications. Issues with sheerID, it says i would get a response in 20 minutes but nothing after 4 hours.

When applying any default/built-in shader via Fill → Shader OR Effects → Shader on the Figma desktop app, nothing renders on canvas and no shader panel appears for me. Confirmed via DevTools (⌥⌘I → Console/Network):GET https://www.figma.com/community/custom_tool/28/code → 404 (Not Found)[published-artifact-custom-resource] failed to load artifact dataXHR for "/community/custom_tool/28/code" failed with status 404This happens across all built-in shaders (tested Risograph print and others), not just one. File is under a pro plan, full seat, so this isn't a plan/seat issue. 

We are trying to use our internal React packages in Figma Make, but its not working due to Figma Make using React 18, and our packages require React 19. The AI has tried to upgrade but its saying that React 18 is bundled with the preview iframe and cannot be upgraded. How can I get around this?

there’s currently this weird issue on my Figma Site: when I edit an attribute in an Interaction, it doesn’t display the value I entered, always reset to the previous value constantly. When I back out and load the window again it then display the latest value correctly, but if I enter a new value then, the bug loop continue.

Hi Figma Support,My account is on a Starter plan with a View seat.I understand from Figma’s MCP documentation that Starter accounts have up to 20 MCP tool calls per month, separate from Figma AI credits.My Figma AI balance still shows 500 monthly credits remaining and 150/150 daily credits remaining, but the ChatGPT/Figma MCP integration is now rate-limited.Could a Figma Support Specialist please confirm:How many MCP tool calls my account has used in the current period. Whether I have reached the 20-call Starter MCP limit. The exact date and time when my MCP allowance will reset. Whether there is any page where I can see my MCP usage myself. Hello, everyone.I’m creating a design system and currently creating the Date picker component. I’m having trouble making the month and year selectors stack over the rest of the content in the calendar. A few things i’ve already done:The dropdown menu is not transparent, it has a background color I’ve set the selectors to be stacked on top of the rest of the content on the frame using the canvas stacking feature (both the individual selectors and the group of selectors)I really don’t know how to fix this. Double-clicking a text layer won’t let me edit it. The layer is not locked. This issue seemed to be resolved in past for other users, but the solution has not been mentioned in the thread. I am first time coming across this issue. Please guide.

Hello, I'm now using a new Claude account that I've connected to Figma. However, when I ask Claude to directly edit a file in Figma, it tells me it can't, because it only has read-only access. Everything worked fine with my old account, but I feel like I've set exactly the same settings. Could someone help me out? Thank you!

I noticed that the custom font files on my published Figma Sites are no longer working as of this past week. My custom fonts were literally loading on Monday of this week and now my site is all default web fonts. Upon chatting with Figma AI Support, it said “Figma Sites does not currently support custom fonts, and published Sites support Google Fonts only.”Is this true? Is anyone else having this issue? Did Figma announce this change anywhere?Note: Figma Sites is giving me zero errors with my font files, the CSS simply isn’t reading them anymore. I’ve deleted and re-uploaded several times.

Hi,I recently started to use the free version of figma make. I rendered some buttons (in a component), and also some inputs (in an other component) and now I’m working on a grid design. Currently, in preview mode I see the grid itself. And in code mode the app.tsx contains also only code for rendering the grid component. So, my question is, how can I make a central page/component, from which I can then jump to the components (button, input, grid). Should I instruct the AI to do this? But this would burn token, right? Or should I edit the app.tsx manually? But later if I proceed further, then the app.tsx will be overwritten again and again. So, what is the correct way to do that?

The recently introduced fill patterns do not seem to be correctly saved in styles:They are not editable (cannot select a new pattern object, and the toolbar does not show the pattern tab) When exported from a library, using them in another file results in displaying dots (presumably the default pattern)

Hello,I thought Slots was the feature we had all been waiting for. Unfortunately, I just found out it's not. As soon as I started using it, it created major issues in my design system and essentially broke all of my responsive components that rely on variants to switch between desktop and mobile layouts. The problem is that it's now too late for me because I've already migrated everything to Slots.For example, I have a Bento component with two variants: Desktop and Mobile. Both variants share the same Slot property. Naturally, the layout inside the Bento needs to be different for each device to be truly responsive, while the content and overall structure remain exactly the same.However, if I edit a single layer inside the Slot in the Desktop variant and then switch to the Mobile variant, it overrides the mobile layout and breaks everything, even though the structure is 100% identical.I'm experiencing this issue with every component that uses Slots.At first, I thought I might need two s

Is the copy Figma Make preview as design layers feature only available on all paid the $20/mo Full seat plan? Or would I still get it If I get the $5/mo collab seat plan? 

Hi there, I have a decently large design system library file in which I work often. Lately, I’ve been getting the “This file has unsaved changes” dialog quite often, and the file tends to run slower when that's the case. I can’t figure out how to force the saving of changes and when I try to reload the tab it gives me the unsaved changes warning as well. My internet connection is perfectly fine. Did something change recently, causing this issue? In general I feel like Figma has taken a step back in quality recently. I’ve been experiencing layout shifts again in collaborative files as well.
