Hi Figma team and community,I am trying to use Figma MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration in VS Code, but I’m running into a persistent authentication token creation issue that prevents the connection from working. Problem DescriptionWhen I configure mcp.json like this:"figma": {"type": "http","url": "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp"},and start the server in VS Code, a browser opens to https://www.figma.com/oauth/mcp/... where I click “Agree and Allow Access”. It seems that fails then a window in VS Code shows “You have not yet finished authenticating to 'Figma MCP'. Would you like to try a different way? (URL Handler)”, which I click “yes” and it takes me through the same Figma OAuth Access flow in the browser, and re-opens VS Code. After doing this, the Figma MCP server fails to start and I see the following MCP Output Error messages:[warning] Error getting token from server metadata: Error: Failed to create authentication token[info] Connection state: Error 401 status sending message

Hi, the new version of “Edit with prompt” has been bothering me a lot. It removed one of the most important features for my workflow: prompt history/recent prompt.For a lot of my work, I reuse the same prompt multiple times to generate different outcomes. Previously, I could just click “Edit with prompt,” select a prompt from the history, and hit Generate. Now I have to type or paste the prompt again every single time, which makes the workflow much more repetitive and inconvenient.I also find the new popup placement uncomfortable, since it always appears right next to the image and gets in the way.The previous workflow was much faster and more efficient. I’d really like to see prompt history brought back, or at least have an easy way to reuse recent prompts.

Can anyone assist me with getting my prototype to fit into the frame when in presentation mode. It fits perfectly when I preview the prototype but as soon as I try to present it zooms in. The frame I worked on was iPhone 14 and that is what I selected for presenting it.

Hi,I don’t know if I’m the only one with this problem. I have the slot. I configure it, etc. everything awesome.I take the instance, try to use it.Add an instance of the component that I had selected as the preferred one.Now, it breaks my Fill for width and height for the component and the component doesn’t fill the slot area!Now, I know it has to be changed to fill but weren’t slots supposed to be automatic? So that whatever is put there, it behaves like it should?WTF?Another BROKEN FEATURE… OMFG.

Previously, it was possible to collapse or expand multiple layer groups simultaneously, but it no longer seems possible. It was as simple as selecting multiple groups and holding the CMD key while clicking on one if their chevron icon-button. This ability seems to have been removed, unless it’s simply the shortcut that changed? This feature was quite useful to navigate quickly within the layers panel. It would be great to bring it back as it doesn’t seem to conflict with any new features. Collapse and expand multiple layers simultaneously 

the copy option disappeared on figma make from today

If I need something I copied a few minutes ago, I have to go back to the original file or application and find it again.For anyone using Figma on a Mac, how do you handle this?Do you rely on the standard macOS clipboard, use a dedicated clipboard manager, or have another workflow that makes it easier to reuse copied content?I'm particularly interested in tools that make it easy to find previous clipboard items without interrupting the design process. Figma stopped working with chatgpt.   I checked again: your Figma connection works, and your account has a Professional plan with a Full seat. However, the use_figma tool we used for editing is still missing.A change to the integration is possible, but I can’t confirm why it disappeared.

The app is currently flagged as "Legacy" in our Atlassian Admin panel, and there is no Update option available on the Marketplace.As Atlassian has announced the end-of-support for legacy app platform frameworks in January 2027, we need to understand Figma's roadmap for this app.Could you please provide: Is Figma for Jira being actively maintained and migrated to the Forge platform ahead of the January 2027 deadline? Hi Figma Support, I'm a collaborator with "can edit" access on the file below. The owner is another member of my project. [file link redacted by forum moderator to remove PII] Until recently, our whole team used this file to edit screen designs. Suddenly, the share list showed only the owner and me, and the other members could no longer view the file. I also became unable to approve their access requests. The owner says they did not remove anyone. Could you tell me whether this was caused by an action or setting change (for example, removing collaborators, moving the file, or a team/plan change), or whether it was an error on Figma's side? Thank you.

Please delete and recreate the Publish deployment record for this Make file. Publishing fails during negotiate-upload with HTTP 400 before any files are uploaded. The deployment build and artifact verification both pass.

My team member upgraded my account to paid but it is still showing as free

Figma Make was working just fine yesterday. Tried using it after my latest prompt and now I only get the error “Message can’t be sent. Remove some files or text and try again.” No matter what prompt I type, files or not, I get this same message.  ID: srid_378D0WEZ2B5K6VG0J27N13DM0
