The generate_figma_design tool — documented as "Claude Code only, remote only" in Figma's developer docs(https://developers.figma.com/docs/figma-mcp-server/tools-and-prompts/) — is not available in my Claude Code session despite the Code to Canvas feature being officially announced on Feb 17, 2026. My setup:  - Figma MCP remote server is connected and working (all other tools like get_design_context, get_screenshot, whoami etc. work fine)  - Full seat on a Pro tier Figma plan  - Figma desktop app is running  - Claude connector browser shows Figma connector version 1.0.3 The tool simply isn't exposed in the tool list. Is this a version/rollout issue on the connector side, or are there additional requirements to access this tool?

The result is always the same:On the browser, the error message “Couldn't send to Figma" On Figma, a new completely blank file On Claude Code the mcp outputs “ Status for capture ID `d1ecf357-9ddb-4ecf-b704-c813feb3063e`: **processing**. “ in an endless loopIt NEVER works. Copying and pasting does, but that’s not much help. The whole point here is to have Claude moves stuff around, not people.Has anybody managed to get this thing working?Even a simple HTML/CSS page with no JS whatsoever fails. 

Issue Description: I am experiencing a consistent issue with the "Copy Design" button in Figma Make. After generating a design, clicking "Copy Design" and pasting it into the Figma canvas frequently results in a blank frame.Details: Reproducibility: Highly consistent (nearly 100% reproduction rate). Success Rate: Only about 1 out of 20 attempts successfully pastes the design. The rest all result in empty frames. Actual Result: An empty frame is pasted without any layers or content. Expected Result: The complete generated design should be pasted into the Figma file.    

Hello! I am out of credits in Figma Pro and now I cannot move the work AI and I have done to an editable version. How do I do that? Thanks!! 

Hi i need some help, i am trying out Figma and I’ve developed a website design in maker that my client is super happy with and now need to move it to a development site for customisation - images, copy links etc.how do i take the make design to an editable website wireframe/design that i can customise then migrate the site to my development server - so it can eventually be deployed on the clients website If i wanted to take the design and build in elementor pro is that possible? I normaly build in elementor.any help/direction wold be appreciated.thanks

Before the figma update, when creating an outlined button (with auto-layout / stroke position: Inside), the padding was the space from the text to the box. After the figma update, the padding is now from text to the border. The border counts as a separate +1 per side. This means when the user show/hide border, you see the component change in size.  This means that the fill button vs outline button now needs to have different paddings, OR we need to also add stroke to the fill button so the size is consistent. Please verify if this is a bug or a new feature...

I gave the ai a COMPLETE design from hours of work that I did by hand, all it needed to do was put it together and make the logic. After it gave me exactly what I didn’t want, I looked at it’s reasoning which I pasted below. It basically just ignored my extremely detailed prompt and artwork...The user is very upset and saying I sacrificed all their artwork. Looking back at what happened:They provided detailed instructions to preserve the magical lunar fantasy aesthetic from the attached images They specifically said "Treat the attached images as sacred visual source material. In Figma, how can I make the rounded part of the vectorized version of the "R" on the left of the below image more closed like the one on the right? 

Hi All, I understand this matter has been reported as fixed. However, I just moved around 30 files to trash and only ~ 10 appeared. They are no longer where they were moved from (“Recent”) either. Should I be concerned? It’s been approximately 10 minutes with various site/app refresh attempts/methods.

 I added a new change in Figma make, my credits got consumed but I do the see the change in the UI nor the version got updated nor can i see my last request in the chat history

I have 3 libraries. One is a component library, second is more complex components, and the third is page templates. I have separate design files that I import any changes from the libraries. The design files are where the prototype interactions live. The problem i have is that some of the interactions on specific components will consistently disappear every time i update the design file from any of the three libraries. Some component interactions will only sometimes disappear after an update. And some will always remain. Why is that? 

I’ve tried for about 2 hours to get this to work and maybe it’s me.But when I go under Settings and attempt to change the email, it confirms that an email was sent. I wait long minutes for Gmail, and then it comes through about 50% of the time. Then if I do manage to click on a message that’s not expired, I get an error message saying it’s expire, unable to execute because the email already exists, or from Figma giving me a string of numbers that doesn’t make any sense.I got back and froth, back and forth. I no longer have access to the previous account. I have no way to change it.

Not sure if this is a consequence of the updated auto layout behavior. If I have 2 children frames with widths set to fill inside an auto layout frame, the expectation is that their widths would be equal. If one of the children frames also has auto layout with padding, the widths become unequal. The child frame with padding becomes larger than the other, but the width of the content within it equals the width of the other child frame. If I enclose the child frame with padding within another auto layout frame without padding, the widths become equal again. It this a bug?Example file

I’m trying to push an update to a Figma Sites file I started a few weeks ago and continue encountering the same error over multiple days. I’ve tried:addressing all critical non-accessibility errors in the meantime I will work on any accessibility errors checking all video files are under 10MB and not using any non-Google fonts (as recommended in this post) checking my components (this post) all components live in the Figma Sites file directly rather than a separate Figma Design file I’ve read through a number of other posts related to this error and am at a loss, so let me know what I might be missing. In the future a more robust error message that specifies the cause or next steps would be appreciated. 

I've noticed Slots keeps swapping out components when a library update occurs. I made sure there were no changes to the master components that is embed within the slot composition. As well as no changes made to the master composition where the embedded components sit within the Slot sections of the composition Is this a bug?

I have been trying to cancel my subscription and transfer to a new email account but I cant cancel and I cant change the email. The old one is no longer accessible, so i dont have access to the pro-plan despite paying for it. I have emailed them and all i get is a robot reply. Wtf figma. Horrible support.

Hello Figma Team,My original Figma account is currently suspended, and I urgently need to regain access because I have important ongoing work that I need to continue and update as soon as possible.Many of the files in the account are also shared files that I created and work on with other people. Because my account is suspended, I cannot access or continue working on them, and some of my collaborators are also unable to edit these files normally. We are all waiting for the account issue to be resolved so that we can continue our work.I have already been communicating with the team through Support Request #2038166 regarding the suspension, but I have not received any further update since August 14.I completely understand that the Support team may need time to review the case, but the suspension is now affecting active work and collaboration with other people. AI credits used up no output - I've tried couple times, and each time it has consumed AI credits and no produced any output and now I'm out of my credits. It did say a lot about plan and working on screens, but then after 15 or so minutes, it just goes back to prompt - i.e. no output and the prompt input is back in the input field and credits consumed. Now that means, I’m out of monthly allowance and it’s been a waste of time too. Seem like pushing people to pay for it even though the free plan exists. I’m quite disappointed In how that’s been working. It used to be fine and I’ve got good progress, but now seems broken. I do like the feature and would appreciate if you can make it work and provide me some credits to get my work done. 

I have a design where I would like to completely remove part of the border with an angled edge. I have tried using the pen tool to create a vector over the area I want to remove and then removing it using booleans but none of the options seem to work. I just want to erase part of it but can’t seem to find a simple way to do this. Can anyone tell me how I could achieve this look? This is what I am trying to achieve. The border connects all the way around and in this pic I have just used some white rectangles covering them to try to show you what I’m after. Any help would be much appreciated 🙂

The new folder colors are too muted and inaccessible. 5 of the 9 colors look identical for colorblind users.. When using color at icons that size, the color should be much more high contrast. Please consider higher contrast options.

Until recently, the process worked smoothly, and we are grateful that our students can benefit from this opportunity. However, students included in our latest submissions have reported that their accounts have not yet been upgraded. We submitted the forms on June 5, July 9, and August 14, but the verification process for these students does not appear to have been completed.We understand that your team may be handling a high volume of requests. Hello, I used to be on the Pro Figma plan and already had some files in my Team. One day, my account was switched back to the Free plan, and I noticed that I can no longer create new design files in my Drafts.Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I believe the Free plan still allows unlimited design files in Drafts, but I’m not sure what happened with my account. Has anyone experienced this before?
