I have seen this issue quite a few times in the forum (locked out of Figma account that is tied to school email that can no longer be accessed) and was unable to get a response after I opened a support ticket, so here I am asking help for this issue.The workaround that is suggested by Support staff on this forum (email forwarding) is not an option for me unfortunately.Thank you!

I can’t use shift + option + {arrow key} to move an object WHILE measuring its distance to another object. Am I tripping here? I’m pretty sure this was possible until yesterday, I use it all the time to organize frames over bigger distances.Now it weirdly cycles through measuring distances around other close-by objects. So annoying.  

Hello,  I am education verified, but some of the students I work with are not. For them, I have used open sessions when we have live class activities. For some reason, it’s not working anymore. It keeps telling them that they have no editing access even when the first message that comes on their screen is that they can add text, draw, and add images on the figjam. Yet last week it was working. It has disrupted a lot of activities. Please help me out.  Also, I thought that even if someone is not education verified they can still edit a file but will lose access within a week? Kindly clarify that for me. 

Hi, I used to be able to move objects by 10 pixels in any direction while holding the measure to selection button (option or Alt + Shift and move). But now when I do this, the object does not move anymore, but it shows measurements to objects which are further away. Did I activate this by accident? I want to be able to move 10 pixels while measuring.

Hi Figma Support Team,I’m encountering a recurring issue when trying to open certain files in the Figma desktop app. Every time I attempt to open these files, Figma crashes and displays the “Something went wrong – Reason: crashed” message (screenshot attached).Details: Platform: Figma Desktop App Behavior: App crashes immediately upon opening specific files Frequency: Consistent for these files only Attempted fix: Reloading and restarting didn’t help OS: Windows 11 Could you please advise on how to resolve this or check if there’s a known issue affecting file loading on the desktop app?

Hi, I’m having trouble uploading specific custom font weights to my Figma Site. My site doesn’t need all of these fonts but, once I started having issues uploading certain font weights, I wanted to test how many were unreadable/incompatible. All of the font weights listed are used in my Figma Site but Figma says it “doesn’t match any font in use” when I go to upload the corresponding woff2 file.  

When I’m zoomed into a frame (some of the frame is off screen) and I paste to replace (one frame or multiple frames across the canvas), my viewport shifts awkwardly and aligns to the bottom of the same frame (or another frame? I’m not even sure). It’s quite disorienting and forces me to navigate back to where I was. This seems unintentional and I’d recommend not moving the viewport at all.Thank you!

In our team’s Figma component library, I successfully connected Figma Code Connect with a Github repository. I successfully connected an individual component, but in Dev Mode, when I click on it, i expect to see a React code snippet, but all I see is a “View connection” button. Do I need a third-party plugin?

Hello, dear experts, can you tell me how to preserve zoom when switching between frames or sections?Currently, when I switch, Figma reduces the zoom, which is very inconvenient when I zoom in on the workspace every time. Is there a way to fix this?

How do you set up your Figma designs so that elements (buttons, text boxes, images, etc.) move, resize, or stay in the right place automatically when the frame or screen changes size?

Hi, I’m a beginner, but I’ve recently noticed a problem. I made a presentation in Figma Design and tried to copy the slides into Figma Slides. However, after many attempts and restarts, it just keeps showing “Copying slides over…” and never finishes. I have alredy tried to make simple “presentation” slides from templates and just use blank frames without anything…still does not work. And I have alredy tried to switch between app and two browsers. I am using Mac M1 Pro 

When are content seats going to be available? Really want to use Figma Buzz but it’s not worth it yet as it’s not worth it for our team without the seats.

Im having trouble adding community kits to a projectWhenever I open one I don’t get a prompt to add this library.I can only publish this by moving it to a project but then it prompts me that I add a seat? What am i doing wrong and how do I add these/save these so I can easily import them in other projects

When I ask Figma Make for pop-ups, I am never able to change the width of the modal that Figma Make offers me. I regularly want to increase the width of my modal, but after many different attempts (sending a mock-up from Design, clear explanation, etc.), Figma Make tells me that the change has been made, but when I test it, no change has been applied. If you have any advice on how to make the right prompt that allows Make to make the expected change, I'm all ears.

I’m not able to access one of my design files. I’ve checked all my teams, projects, and trash, but it’s missing.It’s a very important file. Any help is appreciated.

After exporting a project from Figma Make to GitHub, the images are broken, cannot be opened or viewed, and are not displayed in the application. If you read their type via `file image.png`, you get ASCII text instead of png. The only way to get the correct versions of the photos is to download the archive with the code generated by Figma Make.

I had not add new seats and change the plan, but the system automatically change seat type and billed me.

as title, I’m trying to use my published library in a Figma Make project, but the export for Figma Make dialog does not pop up. Also when I click Import From Figma in Make, it does nothing. Tried closing the app and reopen but still the same. I’m on a pro education plan. Is this feature available for me? thank you

I’m currently having issues publishing my figma make project. I finished the project, connected my domain and added supabase authentication login. When i pressed publish, its getting stuck on publishing. It’s been like this for hours. I’ve restarted Figma, restarted my Mac, cleared the cache..followed all the previous solutions but nothing is working. Please help!

I really need help.I've been trying to solve this problem for over a week, but nothing's working.First, a strange bar about 140 pixels wide with the word "mirror" appeared at the top of my Figma mirror. I couldn't remove it, and it was incredibly annoying. I contacted support twice from within the app, but got no response. Now I can't log into the app at all. It asks for an email address, and after entering it, the browser opens, and the screen goes white, as if the site is frozen. I've tried logging in from different devices and different accounts, and I've reinstalled the app, but nothing has helped. This forum is my last hope."Mirror" is a very useful tool, but it would be a shame if this problem isn't resolved.Browsers: ChromeDevices: Android 12, Android 11

I’ve tried many times to verify my student status, but it didn’t work. I received an email from SheerID asking me to “finish everything,” but when I click the button, it says: “This verification has expired. Please submit a new verification.” When I try to verify again, it says I’ve exceeded the limit.I thinking it’s because I clicked the link only a few days later and the time expired. 

Hi Figma Commmunity,I recently sent a submission to be an FoF User Group Lead in my Community.I sent this submission - for over 2 weeks now - and I haven’t got a response.Can anyone help? How can I reach Figma for a response, or approval?I have sent a follow up email, I have also sent a suppport Ticket, I have sent a DM on X.
