For a change of 10 Variables - the Agent used +1300 Credits (+Error in first run, consuming 800 Credits)! Its a total use of +2000 Credits for - 1 Prompt - that is rather a low effort/severity.
Its nearly half the amount of the monthly budget of 4250 credits.
Hey Manuel, Celine from the Community Support team at Figma here! Thanks for sharing the numbers, using over 2,000 credits across a failed attempt and a change to 10 variables is worth a closer look.
Agent credit usage depends on the task’s complexity and the context processed, so the number of visible changes alone doesn’t determine the cost. Given the usage you reported and the error on the first attempt, I've gone ahead and created a support ticket on your behalf so our support can take a closer look at it. For reference, your case number is #2179537 sent to your email address: mxxxl.bxxxt@5xxxz.xxm.
In your support case, please include the prompt, screenshots of the credit usage, and the affected file URL (please also grant Can View access to support-share@figma.com so our team can investigate.) Thank you for flagging this!
Yes, I had the exact same issue. My prompt was very detailed, and I also clearly listed what Figma should not do. The task was pretty simple: just one page with 7 sections, and I had already provided a UI kit. But Figma still used 992 credits =( That’s honestly really disappointing.
Hi @Кристина Колокольцова, thanks for adding your experience and sharing your setup. Since you provided a UI kit, I’d like to get this in front of Customer Support so we can better understand how the kit may have factored into the credit usage.
As @Celine_ mentioned above, Figma agent credit usage depends on the task’s complexity and the context processed, not just the visible result. I’ve opened a separate case for you: 2186772, and emailed you what we’ll will need to review it.
Hey @Мария Волохова , thanks for sharing your experience and screenshots. You mentioned high AI credit usage when creating slides from ready-made templates using a skill, and I’d like our support team to review your example too.
I’ve gone ahead and created a separate support ticket on your behalf so the team can review your specific usage. Please reply to the support email with the prompt, which skill and templates you used, screenshots showing the credits consumed, and the affected file URL. I’ve sent a message to your email address mxxxxa@gxxxl.xxm, case number 2188933. (There’s no need to submit another request or share private details here.) Thank you!
I’m having the same problem. I ran two AI agent prompts this morning. The first one cost me 1,332 credits. The second was 722 credits.
Here is the prompt i used that cost 1332 credits. it looks like a lot, but it was not a big change.
CLASSY AGENT AGENT ONBOARDING DASHBOARD FINAL UX + TRAINING REFINEMENT
IMPORTANT:
The current Agent Onboarding Dashboard is APPROVED.
DO NOT redesign this page.
DO NOT change the overall Classy Agent Admin visual language.
This task is a targeted refinement of the existing dashboard.
Use the CURRENT DASHBOARD as the canonical Classy Agent Admin design standard.
Preserve its:
- Warm off-white / cream page surfaces - Dark forest-green primary actions - Pale mint active / NEXT states - Pale warm-yellow Next Up card - Soft neutral borders - Dark primary text - Muted gray secondary text - Restrained professional appearance - Existing typography - Existing card styling - Existing navigation - Existing spacing language
IMPORTANT:
Do NOT replace these colors with a different brand palette.
The current Classy Agent Admin dashboard is the visual source of truth.
================================================== 1. PRESERVE THE EXISTING PAGE ARCHITECTURE ==================================================
KEEP:
Global Classy Agent CMS header
Primary navigation
Secondary navigation: Onboarding User Account Support
Welcome / setup summary
Next Up card
7-step onboarding roadmap
Live Classes & Workshops
On-Demand Training
Footer
DO NOT add:
- New dashboard sections - Charts - Gamification - AI widgets - Additional navigation - New onboarding milestones - Sidebars - Decorative illustrations
This is a refinement pass.
================================================== 2. IMPROVE THE LARGE EMPTY SPACE ==================================================
The current desktop layout creates too much empty vertical space below the short Next Up card because the taller Onboarding Roadmap controls the height of the entire row.
Improve this.
Do NOT add filler content.
Instead, create a more natural asymmetric / masonry-style desktop flow.
DESIRED BEHAVIOR:
LEFT COLUMN:
Next Up card
then allow the next appropriate dashboard content to begin naturally below it.
RIGHT COLUMN:
Onboarding Roadmap may remain taller.
The Live Classes section should move upward where possible rather than waiting unnecessarily for the bottom of the roadmap.
IMPORTANT:
Do not make the layout visually chaotic.
Maintain strong alignment and intentional spacing.
The goal is simply to eliminate unnecessary dead space.
If the cleanest implementation requires keeping Live Classes full-width, reduce the gap between the onboarding area and Live Classes as much as the grid allows without redesigning the roadmap.
Use the exact milestone name consistently everywhere.
================================================== 5. IMPROVE ROADMAP STATES ==================================================
Keep the exact 7 milestones:
1. Complete Your Agent Profile 2. Set Your Location & Preferences 3. Connect Your Social Media 4. Turn On Social Media Automation 5. Set Up Your Agent Website 6. Connect Your Business Tools 7. Run Your First Client Journey
Refine the three roadmap states.
COMPLETED:
✓ Complete Your Agent Profile
COMPLETE
Use a clear green check.
Completed rows should feel successful but restrained.
NEXT:
2 Set Your Location & Preferences
NEXT
Use the existing pale mint background and forest-green emphasis.
FUTURE:
Neutral number Neutral/muted text No status pill
Do NOT add “UPCOMING” repeatedly.
The states should be immediately understandable:
✓ COMPLETE
NEXT
FUTURE
As additional milestones are completed, the growing list of checkmarks should create a subtle sense of progress.
================================================== 6. LIVE SECTION HEADING ==================================================
Keep eyebrow:
LIVE CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Change heading:
Join Us Live
to:
Learn With Us Live
Supporting copy:
“Live training to help you build your system, fill your pipeline, and turn more opportunities into signed clients. Bring your questions and learn alongside other Classy Agent members.”
Then:
New live sessions every week.
Times shown in your timezone.
Keep:
View All Live Classes →
================================================== 7. PRESERVE THE THREE LIVE TRAINING TOPICS ==================================================
“Set up Classy Agent with us and get the core pieces of your system working together—from your profile and social media to your website, business tools, and first client journey. Bring your questions and we’ll help you get up and running.”
“Learn practical ways to attract buyers and sellers using your Classy Agent website, social media, lead capture tools, and paid advertising—and how the pieces work together to create a steady flow of new opportunities.”
“Learn the process for taking a new lead from initial interest to a signed client—including follow-up, the Discovery Call, Client Presentation, and the conversations that help prospects confidently choose you as their agent.”
Keep them thin, professional, and consistent with the existing admin UI.
================================================== 9. ADD LIVE SESSION DURATION ==================================================
Each live class should clearly communicate the time commitment.
Add duration to the live metadata.
Example:
LIVE · 60 MIN
or:
LIVE · WEEKLY · 60 MIN
Use the actual configured duration when available.
Example card:
GROW YOUR PIPELINE
LIVE · WEEKLY · 60 MIN
How to Build a Pipeline of New Leads
[description]
NEXT SESSION
Wednesday, Oct 14 · 12:00 PM CT
Register →
Do NOT hard-code 60 minutes if actual webinar durations differ.
Developer note:
LIVE CLASS DURATION IS CONFIGURATION-DRIVEN.
================================================== 10. KEEP NEXT SESSION PROMINENT ==================================================
For each live class preserve:
NEXT SESSION
Date · Time · Timezone
Register →
Example:
NEXT SESSION
Wednesday, Oct 14 · 12:00 PM CT
Register →
This is one of the most important pieces of information on each card.
Do not bury it.
================================================== 11. LIVE CLASS STATES ==================================================
Support:
AVAILABLE
REGISTERED
LIVE NOW
COMPLETED / REPLAY AVAILABLE
Example registered state:
✓ REGISTERED
Wednesday, Oct 14 · 12:00 PM CT
Add to Calendar →
Example live state:
LIVE NOW
Join Class →
Do not use red/danger styling for LIVE NOW.
Use the established Classy Agent Admin green system.
================================================== 12. RETHINK THE ON-DEMAND SECTION POSITIONING ==================================================
The six on-demand videos are no longer a random collection of recommended training.
They now teach the Classy Agent methodology.
Change:
ON-DEMAND TRAINING
Recommended for You
Short lessons you can watch anytime.
to:
ON-DEMAND TRAINING
Master the Classy Agent System
Supporting copy:
“Learn the five-step system for attracting prospects, building trust, capturing leads, nurturing relationships, and converting opportunities into signed clients.”
Keep:
Browse All Courses →
================================================== 13. GETTING STARTED IS THE INTRODUCTION ==================================================
Keep the first card separate from the five-step methodology.
Metadata:
GETTING STARTED · ON-DEMAND
Title:
Getting Started With Classy Agent
Description:
“See how Classy Agent brings your marketing, lead generation, and client conversion tools together in one system designed to help grow your business.”
CTA:
Start Class →
This is the introduction to Classy Agent.
It is NOT Step 1 of the five-step system.
================================================== 14. STANDARDIZE THE FIVE-STEP CURRICULUM ==================================================
Cards 2–6 form ONE deliberate curriculum:
ATTRACT TRUST CAPTURE NURTURE CONVERT
Standardize the metadata.
CARD 2:
THE CLASSY AGENT SYSTEM · 1 OF 5
Badge:
ATTRACT
Title:
Attract More Potential Clients
Description:
“Learn how social media, advertising, and consistent real estate content help you get noticed and bring more potential buyers and sellers into your world.”
“Discover how your website, educational videos, and professional online presence help prospects get to know you, trust your expertise, and see you as the agent they want to work with.”
“Learn the Classy Agent process for moving leads from the first conversation through your Discovery Call, Client Presentation, and ultimately into signed clients.”
================================================== 15. ADD A SUBTLE FIVE-STEP SYSTEM INDICATOR ==================================================
Explore a restrained visual treatment above the five system cards:
ATTRACT → TRUST → CAPTURE → NURTURE → CONVERT
This should visually reinforce that the five classes belong together.
IMPORTANT:
Keep this subtle.
It is NOT:
- Navigation - Another onboarding roadmap - A giant infographic - A large banner
It is simply a visual curriculum indicator.
Use the existing Classy Agent Admin visual system.
Forest green for emphasis.
Neutral connecting lines/arrows.
No new colors.
If this makes the section visually cluttered, omit it.
The card metadata itself remains sufficient.
================================================== 16. ON-DEMAND TRAINING PROGRESS STATES ==================================================
Design the cards so they can support learning progress.
NOT STARTED:
Start Class →
IN PROGRESS:
Continue Class →
Optional helper:
7 min remaining
COMPLETED:
✓ Completed
Do NOT mix this progress with onboarding progress.
Training completion does NOT affect:
YOUR SETUP
or:
7 onboarding milestones.
These are independent systems.
================================================== 17. OPTIONAL SECTION-LEVEL TRAINING PROGRESS ==================================================
Create a developer reference for a returning agent.
Example:
Master the Classy Agent System
2 of 6 classes completed
Do not necessarily show this for brand-new users if it adds unnecessary visual noise.
This is a supported future state.
================================================== 18. KEEP LIVE AND ON-DEMAND DISTINCT ==================================================
The page should clearly communicate:
LIVE CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Scheduled interactive sessions.
ON-DEMAND TRAINING
Short lessons agents can watch anytime.
Do not make these two sections look identical.
However, they must still belong to the same Classy Agent Admin design system.
Live classes should emphasize:
NEXT SESSION REGISTER
On-demand training should emphasize:
CURRICULUM START / CONTINUE / COMPLETE
================================================== 19. DO NOT TURN TRAINING INTO ONBOARDING ==================================================
Training is optional.
Do NOT:
- Add training to the 7 milestones - Require classes for onboarding completion - Require webinar attendance - Increase onboarding percentage after watching a video - Block product access until training is complete
The agent can use Classy Agent without completing training.
================================================== 20. POST-ONBOARDING DASHBOARD — DEVELOPER NOTE ONLY ==================================================
Add a developer annotation outside the production frame.
DO NOT redesign the dashboard for this state yet.
Annotation:
POST-ONBOARDING DASHBOARD STATE
When the agent reaches:
7 of 7 milestones complete 100% Complete
the dashboard should eventually transition away from setup as its primary purpose.
Live Classes and On-Demand Training may remain available farther down the dashboard.
IMPORTANT:
This is a future product-state annotation only.
DO NOT design or implement this dashboard in this task.
================================================== 21. CLASSY AGENT ADMIN VISUAL STANDARD ==================================================
CRITICAL:
Use the CURRENT Agent Onboarding Dashboard as the canonical visual reference for all refinements.
Preserve:
- Current warm page background - Current white cards - Current forest green - Current pale mint selected states - Current warm-yellow Next Up treatment - Current border colors - Current text colors - Current button styling - Current pills - Current typography - Current radius - Current spacing - Current visual restraint
DO NOT substitute colors from an older Classy Agent brand prompt.
DO NOT create a new webinar color palette.
DO NOT give each five-step stage a different color.
The entire Classy Agent Admin should feel like ONE product.
================================================== 22. DO NOT CHANGE ==================================================
DO NOT:
- Change the seven onboarding milestones - Change milestone order - Redesign the header - Redesign navigation - Add a sidebar - Add dashboard charts - Add arbitrary metrics - Add filler content to eliminate whitespace - Add gradients - Add giant illustrations - Add new colors - Add gamification - Add confetti - Add unrelated AI functionality - Add more live class topics - Add more on-demand classes - Change the Classy Agent Admin visual standard
================================================== FINAL QA ==================================================

I also wanted to follow up here confirming that I’ve escalated this to our Customer Support team. Your ticket number is: 2189988. Keep an eye on your inbox for an email from me with next steps.
I was just gonna start a thread aboout this. In the recent past, Figma made it seem like AI credits will never end. Now, one simple generation and bam, it’s all gone. Tokens must have gotten very expensive.
