Hi guys,

I subscribed to figma not because I just wanted to use Figma Make. I thought the AI worked for designs as well, just like https:sleek.design, but unfortunately for me, what is made, can’t be edited on Figma Design. How do I cancel this subscribtion. It’s been taking almost £22 from my account monthly - no matter what I do.

Many thanks.
Abe

Hi @AbeI Do not worry about the subscription. Just write to support@figma.com. They will check the billing period and help you to cancel it. You can also follow the path in your Figma, Team Settings > Plan & Billing, find your plan, and click "Cancel plan,". For more details check this link https://www.figma.com/legal/renewal-and-cancellation/. Hope this helps.

Same problem here. Why is it so easy to subscribe, but so difficult to unsubscribe. Regulators should look into it. Appears illegal. And no - I cannot access my Team Settings>Plan & Billing

Just to add to this thread — I’ve run into the same issue.

Subscribing to Figma was extremely quick and easy, but cancelling appears to require emailing support and giving advance notice before renewal. For a digital subscription service, that feels unnecessarily difficult and out of step with what users reasonably expect.

In the UK (and many other places), there’s a growing expectation that cancelling a subscription should be at least as simple as signing up. Having to contact support to cancel something that was activated in a few clicks creates unnecessary friction and frustration for users.

I’ve now contacted support directly to request cancellation, but it would be much better if the cancellation option were clearly accessible in the billing settings without needing to email.

Hopefully Figma reviews this process, because the product itself is excellent — the subscription management experience just needs to catch up.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback! We understand subscription management should feel straightforward, and we appreciate you flagging your experience here.

For clarity, it is possible to cancel directly within your Figma settings without needing to email support (Unless you’re unable to access billing controls, as a reminder team admins or owners can upgrade or downgrade a Professional team).

For example, you can cancel your Professional plan subscription at any time by following these steps:

  1. Using the browser or Figma desktop app, locate the Professional team in the file browser sidebar.
  2. Click  Admin.
  3. Select the  Settings tab.
  4. In the Plan section, click Cancel plan.
  5. Figma will ask you for a cancellation reason. Select the most appropriate reason and click Cancel plan.

You can also find more details to downgrade / cancel your Professional or Organization plans here:
https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046216313-Upgrade-or-downgrade-your-plan#h_01JN1WZEQ0XHFCM49DXHGJPS7S Hope this clarifies, and thank you again for sharing your feedback!

Cancelling the plan feels like completing a dungeon. It is extremely vague. It should be the first thing you see when you open settings. There should be a dedicated section called “Subscription” where you can either edit (upgrade) or cancel it. Typical corporate behaviour.

In my personal app, once users navigate to “Settings”, cancelling the subscription or requesting a refund is the first thing they see, and it is clearly highlighted. Maybe take note?

In the UK, your practice of hiding this is unacceptable. I will never subscribe again

This is ridiculous !! Subscribing takes a click and cancelling it is hidden in a such a way that you will end up giving it up ??

This is cheating Figma ! a great company doesn’t hide cancel plan !
