I have tried verifying 10+ times, I have contacted SheerID and they say the image of my government ID is not “Clear” I have tried uploading images of it as clear as possible, I have uploaded digital copy of the id straight from government portal and still that is not “clear’’I have run out of verification limit twice, The only prerequisite of being a student is College mail and college ID SheerID cant even verify that. education@figma.com was of no help either. Said that only sheerID can help.

I've been billed for a full seat without my knowledge, this seems to be a recurring issue on this platform, since i've been billed in dollars i got charged with additional fees on my credit card, i need a refund.

Since it’s now possible to upload WOFF files to a Figma Sites project, i wanted to ask if you can also embed Adobe fonts? This would be such an essential feature for any brand work. 

I am making an app which gives gift ideas based on your prompt in Figma Make. I want to connect a LLM which can directly give recommendations based on your prompt. I did connect Gemini API, but its not giving me ideas related to prompt and giving the same ideas for all prompts.

How can I make a footer in my Figma prototype that stays at the bottom while scrolling but does not cover the page’s main footer?

When i select HDR option in capture feature in macOS. The image gets scaled 2x when pasted into the design. I was completely surprised and tried every possible way to paste the image at the correct size that I saw on the web so I could compare them. After adjusting this setting, everything was resolved. If possible, I really wish that Figma would always paste images at a 1:1 ratio regardless of the format!

Recently noticed that components search (Shift + I) results are a bit random.Sometimes before giving me the correct result, it shows a few absolutely different components that just doesn’t have any relation to my requested component’s nameAdditional info if it can help:Device: iMac M1OS: Sonoma 14.1.1 Figma: Desktop App version 125.4.9Searching components across different files/kits (our components each have a different published file)

When multiple components are nested within a component, the content that is ignored in the nested components does not change in size along with the size of the original component's canvas.

 I have a full seat in our Org’s professional plan. We were expecting that Full seat would automatically have access to Dev mode too. But when I try to turn on Dev mode, I see “We’ve sent a reminder about your Dev Mode request to you team admins.”, for the first time I did get a 3-day peek of Dev Mode, but now this is what I see every time. What more is to be done here? Our Admin is also confused as my seat is already Full seat which supposedly have access to Dev mode in Professional plan.

Chrome version 142 will enable the Local Network Access policy, aka LNA (https://developer.chrome.com/blog/local-network-access). This will prevent plugins published within your organization from working because LNA requests within iframes will be restricted.The LNA policy will take effect on October 28, 2025. To experience the LNA policy: In Chrome, input chrome://flags/#local-network-access-check and enable the flag.  Is there any way to solve this problem?----Maybe this is a way to slove it, but plugin iframe is controlled by Figma.

Dear Figma support team,in my last billing period I accidentally assigned a full seat to another email with viewing rights. Once I realized the mistake, I assigned it back to view-only immediately. But in the monthly invoice a 11.33$ one-time charges and credits appeared. I assume it’s for the accidentally assigned full seat. But since that wasn’t used at all, I would like to kindly request a possibility for refund. I understand your policy, but I would appreciate you reviewing this case for refund.Thank you!

Error ScreenWhat i’ve tried:Kept retrying after couple of days, after weeks still same “Error” screen appears. Tried different networks, different devices, no VPN. Mailed SheerID support but they just closed the ticket without giving me any information Mailed education@figma.com, no response for 8 days.The issue:The verification link from Figma takes me to an “Error: We are unable to verify you at this time”Now i’m seeing the “verification limit exceeded” screen & its pretty infuriating. Anybody face this issue? How do i fix this? 

We have created figma AI site. Mapped domain to eat. But since 3 days its in pending status.  Can you please review settings, Its been too long, we are losing business. Earlier same domain mapped to other site in same project/directory and was working fine.Domain : https://www.urbts.com/Link :   

I got quite far into developing a project in Figma Make before I found out that you cannot go from Figma Make to Figma Design. (Brutal. When I opened Figma Make I didn’t even realize it was a coding tool. Naturally, I assumed it was for prototyping.) I tried a workaround based on exporting the Make project and using an HTML-to-Figma plugin, but the Make project doesn’t appear to have HTML files built in.Has anyone discovered any good workarounds for this?

I have an odd quirk happening in just one Figma file. I’m using Figma in the browser as I need to share work with US based collaborators and I’m based in the UK. Every time I click on an object using a regular left click, I get a tiny “Paste” command in a  box next to the cursor. When I click again to get rid of it and release the click, I get a blue selection box which won’t go away until I click again. I’ve no idea how to stop this after checking Prefs etc and Googling the issue. Figma is working fine and doesn’t do this in other files in tabs in the same browser. Sorry, I tried to edit the title to correct the mistakes but I wasn’t allowed to. Any help appreciated, thanks.

Problem: I’m duplicating a file in a project that has the “Discoverable via search” setting set to true.However, when I open the Share modal of the duplicated file, the setting is set to false: 

I am a student and we have a free student plan from our school. I am trying to verify my student plan but it says that I have exceeded the verification limit or I have already activated it. Although the role on my profile is set to Education > Student but when I join on Edu Teams, it wants me to verify my status and I can’t verify it because it won’t let me. I have already contacted SheerID but they take way too long on responding. 

I’m not sure if this was intentionally left off or it’s not fully rolled out. 

I signed up for Figma using my school-issued email address and have attempted the student verification process twice. Unfortunately, both attempts were unsuccessful(I don’t know why.. I submitted my school ID photo), and now I receive a message saying that I have exceeded the verification attempt limit. I contacted SheerID for assistance, but they informed me that they are unable to help further. Therefore, I am reaching out here to request direct support from the Figma team. Could you please reset my verification attempts so I can submit the correct documents? If that is not possible, may I try the student verification again using a different email address that is not my school email? 

I had account A with email address <someone@example.com> and I have transfer ownership of the file to my other account <newsomeone@example.com> and after that I have verified I have access to that file and after that I have deleted the old account <someone@example.com> Now I no longer have file access and try to go by URL I see below page 

My colleagues and I use FigJam for team sessions and until recently, that worked perfectly. Only our designer and I have paid Figma accounts because we’re the only ones heavily using the tools. Luckily we can use the “open session” feature for those team sessions. However, since a few weeks, my colleagues are no longer able to collaborate in the file, despite having started the open session.Is this an issue or is Figma limiting collaboration options for non-paying users (“nudging” them to pay)?Thanks,Job
