Hi, I’m trying to recover some screens that were created by the Figma Agent and later deleted during the same Agent workflow.I asked the Agent to analyze an existing user flow, identify navigation/path issues, and create the missing or corrected screens needed to fix those issues. The Agent successfully generated several screens directly in my Figma file. I saw the screens on the canvas and they contained work that I need to recover. However, while continuing to work with the Agent, those screens were subsequently deleted/removed by the Agent.I tried using Version History to restore an earlier state of the file, but the generated screens do not appear in any of the available versions. I cannot find a version corresponding to the moment when those screens existed on the canvas. Is there any separate history, log, checkpoint, or recovery mechanism for changes made by the Figma Agent? In particular, I would like to know whether it is possible to:recover objects/screens created and subsequentl
I’m currently working on custom box layouts and product packaging designs for client projects (specifically inspired by structural dieline standards from sites like https://zeepackaging.com/.While Figma is amazing for UI/UX, I’m running into a workflow issue when preparing print-ready dielines for manufacturing: CMYK & Spot Color Export: Figma natively exports in RGB, which causes color shifting when sent to commercial packaging printers. How are you handling CMYK conversion without destroying component styles? Bleed & Trim Lines Setup: What is the best practice for setting up bleed boundaries (3mm/0.125") and fold/score lines inside Figma components so they don't get displaced during auto-layout adjustments? Vector Precision for Dielines: Is it better to draw cut/crease lines directly in Figma or import vector dielines via SVG from Illustrator? If anyone has an efficient workflow or plugin recommendation for packaging design export in Figma, I’d love to hear your insights!

Hi everyone,I permanently deleted some files in Figma trash, but I also want to make sure that these files are deleted from the Figma server.I don’t know if permanently deleted files in trash means that these files are also deleted from the server? Or the files are still stored on the server?I’ve attempted to contact Figma team by submit a support request as ticket(#2095775) through AI support chat. But it’s been a week, I haven’t received any reply email. Is there a better way to contact related team to solve my request?
Hello everyone! I have a question about the rules for selling logos, web designs, and anything created in Figma. Do I need to mention on the design, legally speaking, that it was made in Figma if I don’t have a paid subscription? Thank you in advance.
Hi everyone,I'm currently cleaning up and standardizing token mapping across our design system, and I've run into a variable/mode issue that I can't explain.I have an Accordion component that should be mapped exclusively to our Gifted variable collection. When I inspect the component and click into the variable bindings, everything appears correct. The variables are bound to the expected tokens within the Gifted collection. However, when I look at the Modes section in the right-hand panel, Figma shows that the component is also tied to the Common Components collection, which shouldn't be happening. What's confusing is that, after further investigation, it seems the issue may be related to a success state icon variable. The problem is:The Accordion component doesn't appear to have any success state icon variables in its variable assignments. The success state icon variable only exists in the Gifted collection. There isn't a corresponding success state icon variable in the Common Components
Hi everyone! 👋 I'm doing a UX case study on how designers and developers collaborate in Figma, and I'm looking for a few people to chat with. Ideally: designers and developers who actually work together on Figma files, not solo designers or devs, since I want real handoff experience, not general opinions. (We'd chat one-on-one, not together!) It's just a relaxed ~25 min conversation about your everyday workflow, nothing formal, no prep needed. Know a good designer-dev duo, or want to join yourself? DM me please, thanks 🤩 🙏
Hi there! We have a large multibrand system with 17 brands which i’ve inherited. Each brand has 2 primitive collections (standard + colours), and then the semantic collection which houses each brand as a mode. There was no planning for inverse/knockout variants of components, so those needing an on-dark or a flexible background colour (and corresponding text colours) which of course we now need for some brands. In the case of our footer, i had created knockout tokens to sit in the existing eg: font/colour/interactive/text button group and then created a new variant of the footer to map them too and added a boolean switch between the default and inverse themes. But is there another way (without refactoring all of our tokens)
Hi.This is my first time submitting a plugin, and I was wondering if there’s a way to track the progress of the review process or receive updates after submission. I understand that reviews can take 10 days or even more, but I was curious if there’s any way to check the current status or get notified about any progress. Thank you!1669897141584526956
For context, all the components needs to be binding to “Whitelabel ONLY” variable collection only. The problem is as follows… - clicked on parts of the component that shows binding to three different collection to investigate what other wrong binding is in the mix - clicked each individual parts of the components to check for incorrect binding (in this case: component common and gifted only) - they all show that they are binding to the correct collection, which is Whitelabel ONLY - I clicked out to the parent level, only to see that it still shows the incorrect bindings! - so the problem is, i dont know which part is still binded to the wrong collection?! because on individual level, they all show the correct binding, but when clicked together, it shows incorrect binding to three different collections PLEASE HELP, I need to handle three different component binding collections cleanly, multiplied the above situation is driving me crazy!
Just graduated and I’m waiting to get a Pro plan later. Once I’m officially out of EDU status will I still be able to transfer and edit all my student files to my own professional account?
Hi everyone, does anyone know how Figma handles AI-content provenance when generating and exporting images? For example, Nano Banana uses SynthID, while other models may use C2PA metadata or Content Credentials. However, I can’t find any Figma documentation explaining:Whether these provenance signals are preserved when an image is exported from Figma, Whether Figma adds its own machine-readable marking, Which standard Figma uses to comply with Article 50(2) of the EU AI ActHas Figma published anything about this, or has anyone tested exports from the different models available in Figma? I couldn't find anything so far?
Hi,just thought I’d check, is this a legit email? The address seems to come from figma, but the sender is not a word/phrase which I recognise (and neither did google)Thanks in advance!
Is there anyway to bring back the black background for the figma icon?
I’m currently going through the submission process for a plugin I developed, which I plan to sell as a paid plugin.I would like to enter the price, but the price field is grayed out and I’m unable to enter an amount. I can select the payment type, however.I read the official documentation and understand that I need to activate a Stripe account. However, the documentation says:“After you’ve been approved to sell on Community, you must activate your Stripe account before you can publish paid resources. You will receive an email inviting you to activate your Stripe account. A banner will also display on the Figma Community with the same prompt.”Does this mean that I should submit the plugin without entering a price by clicking the Publish button?I’m concerned that if I publish it without setting a price, the plugin might be submitted or published as a free plugin. Will the plugin still be submitted as a paid plugin even if I don’t enter the price at this stage, with the price being set aft
Can I set custom HTTP response headers, specifically Content-Security-Policy and X-Frame-Options, on a site published through Figma Make?
I'm so sick of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi figma, I'm new to figma and I heard you guys made a plan for students. After knowing that, I immediately registered to get the plan on August 27, 2026. But I still haven't heard from you. The status says it only takes a few minutes / 20 minutes if busy, but I've been waiting for a few days and haven't heard anything at all. Can you guys help me?
I’m curious about how other designers handle font variations in Figma. Do you usually use variable fonts, or do you prefer separate font weights and styles? It would be great to have more flexible options for managing font variations directly in Figma, especially when working on responsive websites and UI designs.
Hi guys, I subscribed to figma not because I just wanted to use Figma Make. I thought the AI worked for designs as well, just like https:sleek.design, but unfortunately for me, what is made, can’t be edited on Figma Design. How do I cancel this subscribtion. It’s been taking almost £22 from my account monthly - no matter what I do.Many thanks.Abe
Hi everyone,I'm using the Figma MCP integration (`@modelcontextprotocol/server-figma`) with Google Antigravity to read design files and components into my development environment.Everything was working properly initially, but recently it started failing and throwing authentication/token-related errors when attempting to query files or nodes.Setup details:Client: Google Antigravity (configured via `mcp_config.json`)Token Type: Personal Access Token (PAT) with file read permissionsEnvironment:Token passed as `FIGMA_ACCESS_TOKEN` under server `env`Current Situation:- The integration was working previously without any issues, but suddenly started failing.- I am experiencing this issue in Antigravity (though I haven't tested it with other MCP clients yet).- I've verified the token is present in the configuration, but the connection/auth still fails.Questions:1. Have there been any recent changes to Figma PAT formats, expiration policies, or REST API authentication endpoints?2. Has anyone ex
i am creating an experience where a client can add a product through the use of a modal that has numerous multi-selects and needs to be able to expand in height depending on what the client selects. with that being said this is how i have the interaction wired. if i add a the “background” to the overlay, the modal locks and you can not even scroll up to see the modal information. i have also selected “reset scroll” and when clicked it never rests to the manual positioning. is this a limitation or and error on my end. the odd thing is if i deselect the “add background” i can scroll up but the page does not auto rest the scroll on click….any help on this would be amazing
Need help understanding an unexpected Figma Professional billing chargeHi everyone,I’m a Junior UX/UI Designer at my company, and I’m trying to understand an unexpected charge on our Figma Professional plan. Here’s our setup:* We have a Figma Professional plan that normally costs us around $60 per month.* There are 3 designers working on the Professional team: * 1 Senior UX Designer, who is the admin/owner * 2 Junior Designers, including meThe two Junior Designers are not admins and do not manage the Professional plan, billing, or seats. We simply work on the files under the Senior UX Designer’s Professional team.Recently, for a design-related task, I gave our **Product Analyst Edit access to one specific Figma file for approximately 10 minutes. The Product Analyst was not previously part of our Professional team or one of the 3 paid seats. After that, our company was charged $96.13 instead of the usual ~$60.My CEO and Senior Product Head believe that the additional charge happened beca
I’m trying to set an animation to play only once instead of looping. I can do this in the Motion playback by using the “Play once” toggle button and it looks good there, however when I go into Preview mode it keeps looping. I’ve also tried adding several seconds of dead time to my animation in the hopes that the user wouldn’t see the loop, but that doesn’t seem to change the loop time. Has anyone encountered this, or know of a fix?
