I can't click the menu-items in the prototype. It gets hidden behind the Figa bar that keeps appearing. How do I get rid of this, can I turn this off?My client (and I) can't click on the menu items. Very inconvenient (and weird).  

The company I works for would like to secure a license. Before doing so, it is a policy that the decision makers see a live demo. How can we make that happen? 

Is everyone around here ever able to use Template styles in Figma Slides? EVERY time we paste a slide from another presentation, it creates a ‘new’ template so we end up with a dropdown full of slightly similar templates styles and it is impossible to delete them unless I switch every culprit style to the ‘main’ style. But doing usually changes things around so we just gave up trying to use them 😭 Here is a screenshot of the dropdown in most of our slide decks:

Hi, I’ve suddenly lost access to a Figma file that I personally created in November (between 11/03 and 11/25 I believe) using my personal account.The file no longer appears in any of my workspaces (Drafts, Teams or Trash), but the direct link still works and asks me to “Request access”. This is a professional client project and I urgently need to recover access due to some modifications asked. Hello, I would like to know if it's possible to integrate Google Maps into the app I'm creating in Figma. If so, I'd like to know how.

I set up an MCP server in cursor to try to move designs from Figma to Cursor. I followed the set up instruction from Figma exactly. I see a green badge with 6 tools and 3 prompts enabled in Cursor.I see a green enabled badge in the MCP section of dev mode in Figma. And yet… my cursor agent can’t grab designs from Figma. Keeps getting a tool not found error. I am on a regular paid plan.plz help

I’m paying professional license and my Figma make doesn’t work for almost 3 months. Every time I try it, it freezes and doesn’t even let me create the prompt. 

I have successfully published my Figma Make before, but I went bananas and created a whole app in figma make. After 400 iterations, my project size is probably pretty large. Whenever I try to publish, it thinks for a long while before its saying that it has failed. I’ve also tried to look through other threads here to see what the common issues are but to no avail. To some extent ive tried to optimize the files using prompts, but sometimes it just destroys my app completely and I have to revert. Any ideas?

This Figma Make update is yet to appear in my Figma App. Are the updates being pushed in batches or I need to do something to ensure I can access these new Figma Make Features?Kindly let me know

I’m trying to improve our workflow for handing off new and updated design system components to developers. When a new component is “ready for dev,” is it better to: Share a separate design file or Figma branch for developers to build from, or Merge/publish it into the main component library/design system first, then share?In our case, once designs are shared, it can sometimes take 3-6 months or more before developers actually pick them up. Because of that delay, it becomes hard to tell:Which components are truly “ready to use” vs still conceptual (waiting to be built) Which ones are already built vs just designedThis creates confusion around the source of truth and readiness. I’m also wondering whether new components that are “ready for dev” should live in a separate space from the main design system library until they’re actually built, to avoid mixing shipped components with components still under development.

Hi Figma community,I'm having a some issue with vector illustrations in Figma. Problem 1: Paint Bucket + Eyedropper OverrideI draw a vector with the pen tool, ensuring closed paths for isolated regions (no gaps). In edit mode (double-click vector), I use Shift + B (paint bucket) to highlight and click a specific region it adds a default grey fill correctly to just that area (sidebar shows single swatch). When I try to change the color using the eyedropper (press I or click icon in color menu), the highlighted region automatically deselects upon activating the eyedropper. Sampling any color then applies it to the entire vector object instead of the selected region. Adjusting via the color spectrum slider works fine without override. I’ve created a website (for my thesis’s experiment), and it’s almost perfect. But I want to adjust something that would be done very easily manually. I’ve tried turning the Figma Make to Figma Design, but all the buttons are gone, and it became a static page with no interaction. How can I edit within Figma Make? I want to change the picture and some wording, and I don’t need AI for this. 

Can Figma Make use the custom fonts available to my organization and team?

Hi everyone,I’m looking for some UX feedback on a small tool I’m designing and wanted to get opinions from the community.The screenshot attached is my current Figma design. It’s a very minimal interface for an invisible text generator. On desktop, the design has a heading + text on the left column, but I’m not sure if this approach makes sense for mobile.My goal with design was to make sure the tool is the first thing the user sees when he opens the website either on their phone or on a desktop. A few things I’m unsure about: On mobile, should this stay as a card layout, or should it take the full screen / hero section? (Which it currently does) Would a full-width layout work on a desktop.  I also considered a neo-brutalism style at first, but the clean and minimal version felt more usable. Do you think minimal is the better direction here, or would a stronger visual style help?

Hi :)I want to recreate this blur gradient bottom navigation from spotify, but when I use bg blur and the gradient together it kind of looks off when I compare it drectly to spotify. The gradient has this hard cut because I moved it up a bit. But when I move it down more the content behind is too visible again.  Any Ideas how to fix it?

Hey everyone,I’m really surprised this issue still exists after all these years. We’re paying for Figma and using it professionally, but the problem has been there for almost 2 years now!Whenever I change the color of a swapped instance in the main component, the color doesn’t update in the other instances.For example, when I swap an icon instance inside a component, it doesn’t inherit the color of the original icon that was in the main component — I have to manually change each color one by one, which is really time-consuming.I’ve uploaded my Figma file so you can take a look and see what I mean.Please fix this — it’s been a long time and it really affects our workflow.Thank you.

I am trying to connect to MCP dev server to Claude from the Desktop app, and I just don’t see the option anywhere. I looked all over in Preferences, and I tried clicking Shift + D in my project to toggle the interface, and nothing happens. I’m not seeing the toolbar at the bottom either. I have a full seat in this project, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I updated to the latest server, and even tried the beta app just in case. Any thoughts?
