unable to aurhorise Figma MCP in VS Code

Hi,

I am struggling to get vs code to connect to the figma MCP

I have the Figma MCP Server install in VS Code is says it it is running.

I receive a authentication notification which bounces me to a browser for connection, I select accept.

I am then bounced back to vs code 

in the output terminal I see this:
 

[warning] Error getting token from server metadata: Error: Failed to create authentication token

Not sure what I am doing wrong. help!
