Question

Video in Figma Slides

Olha Kornieieva

I just bought Pro access to be able to use videos. But it plays only in the editor mode. How to show it to the audience (online or by file sharing)?

Hi @Olha Kornieieva , Thanks for reaching out about this!

Are you experiencing an issue where videos played in presenter view do not show on the audience's side?

If that’s the case, please try using the “Spotlight”. Spotlight lets you share your view of a slide deck while presenting.

Here are the steps to do this:

  1. Click the [Present] button in the right sidebar to open the slide deck in presenter view. You can choose either “Present” or “Present + Notes.”
  2. Click the [Share] button to open the “Share presentation” modal, then click “Copy audience link.” You can share this copied link for your audience to access your presentation.
  3. Hover over your avatar at the top of the screen and click to open the Multiplayer tools dropdown menu.
  4. Click [Spotlight me].

I hope this helps! Thanks again for reaching out.

Hi there! Thank you for answering. One small addition, I'd like to share the presentation offline, so the audience can view it whenever they want. And it would be great if the videos could be played. Is this possible?
