Hi all,

I’ve this component library that I publish to other Figma files when I make a change. But in the last few weeks there’s this blue dot (notification) that sits on the libraries icon. I click on it and I see the Publish button is active, then I click Publish but then on the next screen button turns disabled.

On that modal and it also mentions I have 9 changes in this file, which I went through each component and I can’t find what those changes are?

Can someone please help me how I can find those changes and why I can’t publish anything?

thank you

Hi @Umut_Aydin1, Thanks for reaching out and sharing those useful screenshots about the publishing issue you’re facing. I understand how this could be concerning for you.

If I’m understanding you correctly, you’re seeing a [Current file has 9 changes] modal on a library file even when there are no changes. Is that right?
I’ve tried my best to recreate this on my end by clicking the library icon on my own library file (also with no changes), but I wasn’t able to see the [Current file has _ changes] modal. Let’s see if we can figure this out together!

Can you tell us if this happens in the app, in the browser, or both?
If you haven’t tried it yet, please clear your cache in both the browser and Desktop app to see if that helps.

You can refer to our Help Center article for guidance here:

Figma Learn - Help Center

If the above steps don’t solve the issue, I’d recommend reaching out directly to our support team here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

When you do, it would be helpful if you could provide:

  • Your Figma account email address.
  • A quick video recording showing the issue, please include the whole window in the video.(We use these videos to try and reproduce the issue in our own files and so showing all steps needed to reproduce the issue is helpful.)
  • The link to the library file, and please add support-share@figma.com as an Editor to those files (don’t worry, this won’t affect your billing).

Thanks for blinging this to our attention! If I’ve overlooked anything, please let us know.
And we always welcome insights and suggestions from our community, so feel free to jump in!

Thanks,

Hi all,
same problem here. On that modal I have “no changes” on my library. It happens both on desktop and browser.
Cleaned my cache on desktop app. Nothing changed.
Thank you
