Question

Prototype is not working with chrome when view via the share link

Hi there,

I am unable to open all of my prototypes using the embedded share link in my portfolio and my share view link. They only work within the Figma desktop app, using the in-app preview prototype function.

When I try to open them in incognito mode and Safari, they work, but not with Chrome for some reason. I saw that some other members suggested removing cookies from Chrome, but I can’t figure out how to “only remove Figma’s cookies” without losing all my other data/history/ settings etc .

Please help!

Did you try Incognito with Chrome? Could be some extension messing up the link. Also, try the link on mobile or with some other colleagues/ systems.

Clear cookies specifically for Figma by going to Chrome’s settings, navigating to Privacy and Security, and selecting Cookies and other site data. Search for Figma and remove its cookies. If issues persist, try updating Chrome or using a different browser.

You can try incognito mode or clearing your cookies. Update your browser if problem persists

You can also use advanced Figma prototype plugins that are so much more intuitive - https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1382781944686485388/supademo-create-interactive-prototypes-from-figma
