Possible bug:


Currently, when I use the paste and replace option (either via keyboard shortcut of the menu options), instead of the thing I copied replacing the thing I selected, the text of the thing I copied replaces the thing I selected.


I need it to work as before, where the entire thing I copied (component, section, frame, etc) replaced the thing I selected.

There are a few older posts regarding the copy and paste+replace; however, I believe my experience is novel.

Could you share a video recording or the file link with access granted to support-share@figma.com? It won’t affect your billing. I hope to investigate this further.


I tested it on my end but couldn’t replicate the issue.
