• For layers: You can switch modes if at least one variable is applied and the variable offers multiple modes.


• For groups, frames, components, component sets, and sections: You can switch modes if any nested layers have at least one variable applied with multiple modes available.

Could you please double-check the above? If you’re still not seeing the icon, would you mind sharing the file with us for further investigation?

Do I understand it correctly, that I can only apply a mode variable to the frame if any other variable is already applied to the elements in thee frame? Sounds complicated. Do you have this information in you variables guide or somewhere? Thank you
