I wanted to access a Figma Design file from over a year ago. I’m on the free plan. Is there a chance that it’s been deleted, or do I need to go to the paid plan to view it again?


I used my web history to track down the Figma link and it says I had to “request access”. I am the only person that’s worked in the file.


Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. Have you downgraded from paid to free plan? In that case, you may not be able to access the files until moving the files. To move files, please follow the steps here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038511573


In other cases, your files could be in the deleted files. You can also check the deleted files from the drafts page (attached).
