Hi, I’m seeing an angle on gradient fill, even though I should not. Is it something I’m doing wrong or a bug? Thanks!

After assigning multiple prototyping actions to a trigger I can’t current select them. I’d love to copy / paste them. I’m quite sure I’ve done this before. After clicking it seems to de-select right away. I am still able to drag to re-order. Anyone else experiencing this quirk? (The - (remove) button appearing so close to the collapse/expand arrow also isn’t great)

When copying a design from another file with applied variables, Figma adds the variables to my file. And sometimes my created variables are missing.

How do you manage components in a shifting environment so that the old versions are still available for older design work to reference? I’m designing in an organization with a design system, but the area I’m working in isn’t using it. I’ve built out a bunch of components (panels, local nav, cards) to match the current UI so I can efficiently make mockups that match the current product area. As I do feature design I’m working to update the UI to match the global design system. I’ll update my composite components to use design system atoms (buttons etc.) and themes as I go. As I do this, though, my old designs will break. Spacing, fonts, layouts, etc. will all change, and past projects will no longer represent the state of the product at that time. This is especially fraught if I’m working on the follow-on to a project still in development. I can’t have reference designs changing when I make updates for the next cycle. Hello Folks, I’m having an issue on icon components. I’ve created set of icons and several other components using that icon component which have different stats (active and deactivate) My issue is when I’m changing the component icon into a different icon, the state color doesn’t apply for that new icon. When using manual placement for open overlay, is there anyway to anchor the overlay to two frames instead of just one?

Hey, I’m working with video and got an issue with low regulation, how to fix that?

I have been facing a issue, Images are cropped properly and paced inside frame when its view on presentation mode the edges of the image adds a black edge. This doesn’t have anything to do with drop shadow. I have tried behind the transparent area option also.

This may be a bug but I’m hoping to confirm that before submitting it as a bug issue. I have three inputs (two dropdowns and one text field) that only have a label. I have the prototype set up so that when they are clicked, the dropdowns get a selection and the text field gets text. However, when I go into prototype mode, those inputs show the text as if they’ve been clicked. But they have not yet been clicked. They are empty in the design tab. I have plenty of other inputs where it’s all working fine, but three of them always show the selection/text as if they’ve already been clicked. Has anyone else dealt with this who could give some advice?

I have much larger and more complex projects that didn’t have this notification, and everything worked fine there. There are definitely not more layers in this project compared to my previous ones…

Hello, I search through the forum but didnt find the example I’m struggling with. I want to build a responsive baner for a web site. It contains a video frame(or slider frame) 16:9 and two frames in a group set to fill/fill. It is all in a frame that is fixed/hug and set to Wrap. When I change the width it all works great until I get to my 16x9 frame. I pour my hair how to set this frame so it would start to scale proportionnaly while decreesing the width of the main frame. Is it possible to have a fixed aspect ratio image inside of an auto layer frame and it will then behave due to auto layout configuration???

Hello, I am working on a project that will work on multiple screens at the same time. (6 screens simultaneously). As far as I know, it is not possible to prototype more than 1 frame. Is there any other way to achieve that?

When an asset is scaled within a frame, the scale adjusts the asset from top, left; often placing the asset out of frame. I’d like to set the adjustment so it adjusts from center. Is that possible?

I am so mad I really don’t care if there are any other topics that match my issue!! Figma is now wasting my time and messing up my work. I have just updated, logged back in via the browser and have now lost access to key files that I have to ask the ‘owner’ or ‘admin’ to enable. I am both! Or I have to ask for support. So I updated Figma and when I came back to open my files all of them werent there except 1 that was open when the update started, idk what to do, it isn’t on the deleted files… also previous projects that I did with other people have disappeared…

My company recently changed our email domain, so my email address changed as well. Now, when I log into Figma using Google SSO with the new email, it sees me as a new user and I can’t access any of my old files. The problem is, the old email address is now deactivated, so I can’t log in with it anymore to transfer files or anything like that. Does anyone know how I can get my files back or transfer them to my new email? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am developing two different widgets in two separate folders and I am trying to sync the data in both widgets together. From Widget A, I can press a “Send” button and it will send the data from Widget A to Widget B and navigate directly to wherever Widget B is at. But I want Widget B to automatically fetch and display the data from Widget A as soon as I navigate to Widget B using Figma.currentPage.selection = [WidgetB] Figma.viewport.scrollAndZoomIntoView([WidgetB]); Right now after I have navigated to Widget B, I have to create and click on a “Fetch” button in Widget B in order to fetch and display the updated data. I have tried setting up event listener to trigger the fetch function, but I assume the Widget B is not in an “active state” when I navigate from Widget A to Widget B that why the event listener isn’t triggered. Is there any solution to solve this issue, this is my first Figma widget project and I have been trying to solve this for days, any help would be really appreciate

Oddly, I can no longer edit color styles. When I click on the edit icon, I get an inert color picker. Clicking on that brings up a repeat of the edit color box. I have Figma up to date. Did something change or is it my system? –Paul

Hello everyone, I was a University student that was using the Figma Education Plan this previous semester, and over my courses made many projects under this account. The semester recently ended and I wanted to add some of the projects to my portfolio, but when I logged in using Google, Figma redirected me to the survey that you do when you initially register for a new account. Once I got past it I was indeed, greeted with a completely new Starter account. All of the files I had worked on were gone, all the saved libraries and teams I had made are nowhere to be seen as well. I still was able to find and open some of the files from my browser history, so they were thankfully not deleted, but all of my access is removed despite being able to still see my name and icon in the project’s editor’s history. When I click the [ask to edit] button, I even get the request in my exact same email’s inbox! But when I try to accept it, an error occurs. I think it might have to do with my university c

Hi there, I can’t work in my design files anymore and have been locked out. ‘Your Educational plan has expired - Education team members need to verify their status to keep collaborating…’ I used to have a private educational plan I used to work on the design file… since introduction on the Desing file system by Figma I’m getting this error message. Thinks I have tried: created a company account (paid) assigned to the companies team space emptied the browser and app cache, deleted and reinstalled the app logged out from all devices Is it because the Owner of the company team space is still on educational plan? But then all my other colleagues have no issues working on their files…
