I want to know if Figma AI is available in paid plans or not.

Will UI3 allow me to go back to UI2? I can’t seem to find out how to go back a version. I’m struggling on learning Figma now due to this UI3 update in the middle of a course I purchased.

I tried copying text styles from one library to another by cut and paste style, but after that t I found out the text styles disappeared (in all the component and design files that using them…) I was wondering if there is a way to have the style back ? I tried restoring history version of the library file but that didn’t work.

Hi Figmates First time asking for help here, so please bare with me if I don’t explain it throughly enough. I have created a Segmented control and am trying to prototype it so it’s easy to use in our design system. My challenges are: Text properties doesn’t transfer when changing states Hover and selecting (only one option) is not possible at the same time It is build and setup like this: Part(s) I have a created segmented-control-option, with a boolean to change between variants: inactive and active states. Hover should look the same as active state. The text on the segmented-control-option has been linked to a text-property (OptionText). Component: The Segmented-control component uses 3 instances of the segmented-control-option. Each of the instances has been linked to seperat boolean variables that control if they are active or not. Prototyping: Each instance is setup using On click → set variable(s) true or false. Challenges: I would love to be able to hover over an instance

From one moment to the next, my file tabs shifted from being able to easily differentiate page names and file types… to me staring blankly at a bar of sameness. No color in the icons unless you hover. The icons are thin, outlined and hardly noticeable now. The colored icons used to help me distinguish the visual start of a new tab. And the dark background also helped me read the labels better. I did notice that if there is an emoji in the front of the file name, it will replace the file type icon… which I guess can help me with distinguishing page names better but I don’t want to add an emoji to each page name. And then I lose the file type indicator if so. I know there’s an adjustment period for everything, but I’d love to be able to see the icon colors again (without hovering)!

I’m reporting a couple of glitches within a prototype that showcases mobile mockups on a desktop frame for presentations. I’ve already attempted various troubleshooting steps to isolate the problem. Glitch 1: Animation Hiccup The prototype features transitions between mobile mockup screens via animations using Smart Animate. Recently, I’ve noticed a minor stutter or glitch at the very end of some animations on specific screens. Sometimes it’s worse and sometimes it’s a bit decent but the issue remains constant. This behavior wasn’t present approximately few weeks ago. Glitch 2: Zoom Inconsistency Another interaction involves zooming in on a specific mobile screen mockup on click, likely using Smart Animate. Unfortunately, the zoom animation isn’t functioning smoothly. Glitch 3: Icon Popup Animation Certain icons have custom Smart Animate interactions applied. Hey everyone, I’ve been working on a website prototype and every now and then when the prototype plays the buttons will either Stop working Move to a location that isn’t correct (highlights will show above/below where the actual button is). Dissapear entirely It’s quite frustrating as these prototypes are to be user tested but i can’t seem to get a consistent experience working. Things that can help: Scrolling less on the prototype Refreshing the prototype Refreshing the page Anyone have a solution to this?

I hope the title makes sense. Going to try to be as clear as possible. So I have a prototype I am working on. Say there is the main screen, then 3 sub screens. I create the transition going from screen 1 to 3. I had to add the elements from 3 to 1 in order to have them animate in properly. Now, a user can also access screen 3 from screen 2 and 4. But I dont want to have to paste the same elements into those to screens as well, since I already did it once. Is there a way to have that same transition repeat without redoing it over and over? … I can’t stand those fake floating panels, and the nonsense padding of the UI. If you want to create real floating panels (which is done everywhere with rounded corners and drop shadows, like… Photoshop) that’s fine for me. I will use it. But when I’m working on my laptop, this UI3 gadget is narrowing my working space too much.

Somehow the SVG Animate plugin tries to load and freezes me out of dev mode. I don’t think it’s saved, I didn’t use it. I thought I was just clicking on it to read about its functionality, and now it’s like a Figma virus that takes over everything. No matter what I do, it tries to load and I’m unable to access my file in the app. I have to use the browser, which still seems to be searching for this plugin I don’t want and didn’t install. Any ideas what’s going on there and how I can restore functionality?

We are developing AMP (Advertising Management Platform) which is simply a CMS SaaS where there are also images as a type of content that are used as advertising - banners. We would like to make it easier for operators to manage these images. The current workflow is that the exported image (Figma/PS) needs to be manually uploaded into the system where some data needs to be manually edited. Although there is an option to “Show/hide hotspot hints on click” within the options menu in the web/desktop app prototype view, there is no such option in the mobile app. As mentioned by everyone else who has requested this feature, this is critical for user testing with the mobile app. This issue has been posted and ignored several times over several years, so I will continually reply to this thread to prevent it from expiring until it receives a reply from the Figma team: 1. I have a question about mouse enter mouse leave interaction: In a mega menu with an overlay like this: when the mouse leaves “Shop by” for example, the overlay doesn’t disappear UNLESS i leave the menu and hover elsewhere on the page, but for example if i hovered around “SHOP BY” and then went to “NEW” the overlay doesn’t change HERE the figma file I don’t know what i did wrong so if you could check the file and leave me a note I’ll be thankful

Hi there, I’ve published a number of design systems with variable collections before. This is the first time I’ve run into this issue: I have a design library file. I have a primitive and semantic collection The primitive collection publishes with no issues. The semantic collection does not publish. When I check the “Publish Library” settings, this collection shows up under a list called “Hidden” and “These won’t be published” None of the variables have been selected to be hidden during publishing, nor does the collection name have any kind of prefix to mark it to be hidden. I’m at a loss here! Thanks!

Everyone else on my Team received Drafts to Move changes except for me, and I believe it’s beginning to cause account issues. When I make a new file using the + button from the tab bar, it has no file location and does not allow me to move it anywhere. I try to stay on top of organization for my team as a UX Lead, and not having the ability to rearrange files is a severe issue. What can I try to resolve this? Already reached out to customer support and their response was asking if they could manually help move my files which is not acceptable.

Hello community, I have issues on importing video into Figma prototype…can anyone help me? I am a Pro account user and I am unable to drag video into prototype. I tried the methods from other posts in forum, such as convert video to webm or clean the cache, none of them works for me and my deadline is very close, can you have a look on it? I have the Figma<>Google Calendar extension installed, but when I try to ‘Log in with Figma’ while setting up or editing a Google Calendar meeting, but the button doesn’t do anything when clicked. It’s worked for me before and been very useful; if I recall correctly, it’s done this to me before, and I’m not sure what resolved it.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help with this issue please? When I try to view a prototype in Full Screen, the graphics become blurry (I’ve attached an image of the problem). If it’s not in full screen, the graphics are perfectly fine. I’m encountering this problem in Chrome and in the Desktop App. I’m working on a 27-inch iMac 2020. I’ve checked my internet connection and checked my pixel preview is disabled. When I present prototypes to clients, it’s frustrating when the graphics appear so fuzzy. Is anyone else encountering this or know of a fix please? Thanks!

Hi, I have a mobile prototype version that works properly on my desktop/laptop. However, when I test it on a real mobile device, some random buttons and functions do not work. After refresh sometimes it works again sometimes not. Has anyone experienced this issue before? Do you have any suggestions for a solution? Thank you! This is quite urgent. 🙂
