I published a file called TV App Prototype to the community 2 days ago. However, I still can’t see it on my community profile. And I tried to search it in the community page still cannot be found. I tried unpublishing and republishing it, but the issue persists. I’m not sure is that because I am in a starter plan, but the file I published contains customized videos (Not from the Figma Community). Could anyone please assist with this? Thank you very much!

how do i remove the educational thing. It keeps thinking I have an expired edducational account.

Today, when I opened Figma, I found that one of the RAR-APP files I created disappeared from the recent list, and several other created files were gone.

I’ve got text selected in my layout, and am trying out various fonts using a Font Preview plugin, but I still need to see the font in context. The problem is that I only have a second to evaluate how it looks like in context. How do I hide that bounding box around the text layer, so that it doesn’t keep reappearing? In other design tools there’s usually a keyboard shortcut to toggle bounding boxes on/off, but I’m not seeing this in Figma.

I recently reinstalled Windows after upgrading my motherboard. I installed Figma and went to work on a project only to find out that my fonts weren’t being detected. I use Fontbase to sync fonts between my Mac and my Windows computer via a Google Drive folder. And it works fine with all my other software, tested in Photoshop and Illustrator. I’ve tried the following - Using Browser with Figma agent, not working. Restarting Figma, not working. Restarting computer, not working. Reinstalling Figma, not working. I have no idea what else to do and this is incredibly frustrating when I have deadlines approaching quickly. I need a fix ASAP.

Does anyone know what’s causing the components to be nested like this? I need to open 2 things just to access a component for almost every asset listed.

What is the proper way to get the right sample based on a screen size in inches (4) and the resolution (720x720)? The unusual thing here is that the screen is round.

Hi everyone, Is it possible to change to a variant using an overlay? I want to reproduce what is happening below, using a variant instead of a page. The problem is that it seems impossible to link anything from the overlay to the variants. This is the result I want: When I click on a color it opens an overlay Then I pick a color and it changes the jersey to another variant. This should be the result with a variant. (It is a new page on this example) The problem I encounter is when I open the overlay with Default Variant, in the overlay, I want to select a color that would trigger the change of Variant. But Figma doesn’t allow me to make that link. Is there any way to make it work?

Hi, We are a Upsc coaching institute in India. We are looking to develop an app to help students grasp current affairs that are relevant to UPSC. We want that app to not only deliver current affairs from our website, but also fetch important information from various top news sites in India filtered by keywords. We have talked to various local app developers (both agencies and freelancers), but could not find someone who can confidently add this functionality to the app. One more functionally that we want in our app is “Filter current affairs by date” just like on our current affairs page ( https://compass.rauias.com/current-affairs-upsc/ ). This feature helps students go through current news by date helping them keep track. So, if anyone has done it in past, we would love to discuss how it can be done or anyone having the code to integrate these features? Looking for solution ASAP.

Hi, I need urgent help before I go crazy. Can anyone know how to prototype a button so that when the mouse is hovered over, the whole frame moves a couple of pixels in a different direction? I have tried every solution on the web however none of them worked for me. The screenshot below shows more or less what I mean. I would be very grateful for help!

I have read the YouTube tutorial and still cannot find my answer. My goal is to set up two languages in variables: English and Chinese. I have set up an English font with the weight " Regular " and the Chinese font did not contain " Regular ", so I had to manually detach it and choose another font-weight. What is the best way to make one set of English and one set of Chinese, and then easily switch to another language?

I’ve had this problem now going on for over a month now. I’ve cleared my cache on the browser and I don’t have the desktop app. When I open up the memory manager in the Figma browser app it says 4%. At this point the file doesn’t even seem to open. This seems to be an ongoing problem with Figma. What is the solution for this?

I’m trying to toggle the visibility of the Product line based on the user’s selection. If the user selects “Show Product” and clicks the “Give me Result” button, the Product line should be displayed; otherwise, it should remain hidden. The same logic applies to the Unit Price. I’ve been working on this for nearly 6 hours, watching videos and reading Figma articles, but nothing has been helpful so far. Does anybody have any idea.

Has anyone had any success? Is it just SwiftKey? Typing in notes or similar just appends text, going back doesn’t understand if you’re adding to a word.

Perhaps somebody has the same problem: Example: I have a component of a button with 2 variants: First variant is red Second variant is blue 1st and 2nd are connected via “while hovering” Now i get an instance of this button in a seperate file. I change via the right side menu the variant to the 2nd (blue). I now manually change blue to a green color. If i now switch in edit mode between the two variants, the button is red and the hover is green. So far, so good. If i open prototype mode, Figma “forgets / ignores” my adjustment to green and reset the component to the original blue hover. This is especially annoying if you have for example an empty menu component, change the menu accordingly, just to see that Figma ignores your menu adjustments in prototyp mode. Anybody experiencing the same issue or am i doing something wrong? Thank you 🙂

Hey Figma, it’s great to change your UI, but it would have been better to address the issues that have been around for years… How are we supposed to clearly see the data in the panels if the windows can’t be resized? Is it that hard to implement?

Hi everyone, I am currently evaluating whether the professional plan on Figma is suitable for my needs. Currently, another designer and I use the same account to create projects on Figma. In the free version, it is allowed to create a team with three projects where I can add as many guests as I want to edit the files. My question is, if on the paid plan, by paying only $15.00, can I also invite external people to edit files? Or would I have to pay an additional $15 for each new person I add to the team? In that scenario, it wouldn’t be worth it for me. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi everyone, I’m stuck here… I want the background of my page (stadium + dark blue rectangle + gradient rectangle) to move down along with the changes when the page is below a defined width… The background elements are currently in absolute position. So, here is the problem: The title, subtitle and frame with the EAGLES jersey are in auto-layout, when the width of the page is less than a defined width, the text will go above the image. This is exactly what I want. When the text moves above the image, all elements below move down except the background which is in absolute position. Then the perspective between the uniforms and the stadium is wrong. If the background images had moved down along with the rest of the page, there would be a problem. I created a square frame, which has layer blur behind a text sentence. I made it a component to use it accordingly. But right now the layer blur value has changed automatically. Is anyone facing the same problem. My purpose is to create templates for social media and which has color layer blurs behind the text. Initially it was working fine, but now the color is bleeding to the whole frame. Can it be because of file getting heavy?
