[Bad UX] Why do we have to click a dropdown just to see the H/W of an object when using Hug/Fill?

When our objects are using fill / hug, don’t make us click the drop down just to find out what the selected height / width is. Why can’t it always be displayed while having the fill / hug property.

This is bad UX… abstraction for the sake of abstraction.
