Hi everyone How to import Figma designs into WordPress for our blog website. this website https://www.ravi-gupta.com/

I’m new to Figma and appreciate the properties feature (for buttons with primary, secondary, with/without icons, etc.) and the ability to switch between modes, like dark mode, easily. However, I’m struggling with understanding how to add states (like hover, pressed, etc.) to all the buttons in the Relume Figma kit. There are now 54 buttons (considering all the different variants), and adding three additional states would increase the complexity significantly. Is there an efficient way to manage this, or is there already a solution I might have missed? I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi I am new in Figma. I made onw web design for desktop now I want to make mobile responsive webdesign. So, I want to know what basic pixel size I have to take for basic mobile design (360x640) or (360x800).

as of 6. september 2024 - clicking on button “Open in Figma” still opens some different file, not the one intended to share. how about fix it this year?

Hello to everyone! I’d like to ask for help in order to manage a nested instance in one of my components. I’m designing a new property with variables in which a component like an action-button, an icon-button, or an input-select can show a nested dropdown instead of putting the dropdown in my screens with absolute position. The property is simple, just a boolean applied to a nested dropdown in my components: The situation showed in these 2 screenshots is the best that I came up with and solve the majority of situations. However, what happens when a nested dropdown is set to visible in a select is that the dropdown does not follow the width of the parent component: This happens because the nested dropdown has an absolute position due to the alignment that has to respect. Of course on developer side this issue does not exist, but is still present in Figma. So the question is → Is there a solution for my problem? How could I address this and fix the building of this components? Thanks

When I try to import published component into current file in Figma plugin with importComponentByKeyAsync plugin api, Figma is lagging or even freezing and I’m not able to do any operations (like manually create frame or drag layers around) during the import. It seems that importComponentByKeyAsync is not asynchronous at all. Has anyone experienced this before or has any insights about this problem？ Thanks so much.

Hello Figma Community, I downloaded an icon pack with 4000 icons. I want to add a frame to each icon and make them components, but the icon names got changed like “Frame 1” and so on… So, in short, I would like to rename each parent layer(frame) based on the text of the child layer (icon name). Is there a way to automate this process in Figma? Any solutions or plugin recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

How i solve this problem because the bill amount is so high if i am not able to solve this may be i am gonna lose my job

In a list of design files some have a black “pen” icon while others have a blue one. What is the difference? When these files are opened those with a blue icon use this as the tab’s favicon, while those with a black icon use a different tab favicon entirely (the “library” icon). At first I thought this might be because of pending library updates but that’s not the case, so what explains the difference?

When I preview my project it stops properly working with the last rows of frames (its a big project). It wil jump back to the first frame of this kind instead of going forward. I tried everything but it just wont work and I’ve got a deadline of friday morning. Another problem I have is that interactions wont work, no matter if I replace them. They only work when I open the preview on the frame that wasn’t working. So in summary I’ve got lots of problems with the interactions which makes it not work the way it should, these problems only show up in the last 2 rows of frames. I hope someone can help me!

Hi, Im new to Figma. I have a A4 Canvas with the standard 210x297mm. The font size is completely wrong. The font size on the sreenshot is 40, the quotation mark even a 100. which cant be as the diusplayed size would normaly be a 7. Thanks a lot for helping.

I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps but haven’t been successful in resolving the issue. Subject: Urgent: Lost Project Data After Figma Upgrade Hi Figma Team, I encountered a critical issue this morning after upgrading Figma on my Windows 11 machine. Before the upgrade, I was actively working on a file I’ve been developing over the past few months. Once I completed my session, I proceeded with the update. However, after the upgrade, I noticed that all my data from the past two months has disappeared, and it’s not even available in the deleted section. All my projects were synced before the upgrade. I’ve explored the version history, but while I can see older files (from more than two months ago), I’m unable to view or access any of my recent work. Restoring previous versions only brings up the original file data from the 11th, with none of my recent changes reflected. I’ve tried rebooting my machine and accessing Figma via Chrome and Microsoft Edge also, but the issue persists. My present button doesnt seem to work. Everytime I try to present, the screen is just pitch black with a white rectangular in the middle and it doesnt work no matter what I press. What are hte suggestions?

I have a card design like the image, with an icon in the left frame and content in the right. The left frame is set to ‘hug’ with 16px left padding, and the right frame is set to ‘fill’ (ignore this part). The problem is that the left frame doesn’t shrink to fit the padding when I hide or delete the icon. It maintains the same width as if the icon were still there. I expected it to adjust and only show the padding. Can anyone explain this behavior?

Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to create a responsive carousel with auto-layout? Sort of like this, I made it using contraints but the problem is since I didn’t use auto-layout the slides wouldn’t position themselves properly, but on the otherhand if I used auto-layout I couldn’t reproduce the similar resizing effect.
