Is there way to find all detached nodes in the file ?

I am trying to get the value of an alias variable from a remote library and I can’t get the color value. While in alias variables of local libraries it works perfectly using the id that has the “VARIABLE_ALIAS”, but for remote libraries I can’t access that value. Manifest is set with “permissions”: [“teamlibrary”], Someone has any idea what could happen? Thanks in advance

Is there a way to use percentages or ratios in Figma variables? I tried using number variables like 1, 1.5, and 2 as ratios for line height, but it doesn’t seem to work. Just wanted to check if there’s a solution.

On the new UI, I can’t see the pixel size of any element or component that have autolayout applied. It’s hidding an essencial information that I need to see constantly. Now, I can’t see it unless I hover, and it’s not only very annoying, but it’s not best practices. Bad UX Figma. Please bring it back.

Hi guys, I’m working on a multi-brand design system with one shared component library. My header component is also located in this library. My goal is to be able to change the logo in this header since it is going to be used for multiple brands. I have made another component which holds the logo’s of all the different brands. This logo component is nested in my header component. However, when I change the logo variant it keeps sticking to the aspect ratio of the default property. I do not prefer to make a header component for each different website since that breaks my main library. Is there a way around to achieve this goal?

I have a a text box within a frame that has a top and bottom border, like this: When I add more text to the text box, I’d like the frame to expand to accommodate it, but I can’t seem to get the outer frame to change: What I want to happen is for the frame to expand like this: Any suggestions? adTHANKSvance!

Wondering if this is a bug or a feature that hasn’t been implemented yet. I’m trying to change the auto layout direction from ‘horizontal’ to ‘vertical’ on an instance but it doesn’t allow me. When I click on the direction arrow, nothing happens — however if I detach the instance, it works. I remembered it working before or maybe I imagined it did. Thanks in advance.

Bring old UI back. I used it without any problem, now i can’t find tools properly, and toolbar why it’s bottom of the screen, it’s distracting me and it’s really annoying and it’s really lagging a lot, why separate Position and Dimentions? Almost in every design app these tool are next to each other. Everything was perfect untill UI3. If you don’t wanna change it then let people downgrade the version. I need prev version which I used almost a YEAR. Then i was able to attach files to community where is it and why i can’t attach anything? It says new users can’t attach files, i’m using community over for over a month.

Despite my excitement to explore the new features, the update hasn’t reached my account yet. I’ve checked for updates on my end but had no luck. So i see this issue still persists. When i change the component in my library that is a separate file and i publish changes, in my design files i can see that the component in assets panel shows the updated version but but not across my design layouts. And still I do not get the prompt window where i can review the updates and changes. i have cleared the cache in my desktop app. Any one has the same problem? Thnx everyone

TLDR: I need the functionality of the previous UI in terms of color selection and changing. As you can see in this image This is the selection colors. The previous UI doesn’t remove automatically what’s changed. And I need that when creating light and dark mode. Now it automatically just removes the changed color, I need it to stay for a while so I can change them all equally.

Stop pushing trash and updating things which were working very well. Nobody cares if you have a floating UI bar in bottom which obstructs items on the workspace or has rounded corners. Stop it pls. If UI designers don’t have any job other than push unwanted updates then give them some other more meaningful jobs, stop pushing unwanted changes which nobody asked.
