Hello, I have some questions about Figma’s subscription plans.I am currently on the annual Pro plan, with a renewal date of March 9, 2025. Since Figma’s new plans will take effect from March 11, 2025, I am considering canceling my current plan and re-subscribing to the new plan after March 11.However, I have two concerns:If I cancel my plan now, will I still be able to use all Pro plan features until March 9, 2025? After canceling, I understand that all files will become view-only. If I re-subscribe to a new plan after March 11, will I regain editing access to those files?I would greatly appreciate clarification on these points. Thank you in advance!

Hi! I’m in an agency and I work with a lot of clients. Each time I’ve tried to onboard a client in the Figma process, the edit account of my client is added to my bill… I want them to manage their own accounts while keeping the file property till the end of the job. Is it possible that after merging a branch, the changes in the main library file are not visible to other library users until 'Publish' is clicked?

Currently, I have to click 'Show more properties' to access alignment options for components that are not in Auto Layout. Is there a way to make these alignment options visible by default, without needing to expand the panel?

Hi everyone,I’m exploring the new website functionality in Figma and would like to know if there’s a WYSIWYG editor available for clients. Is it possible for clients to add and modify content on the site without needing to access Figma or having any prior knowledge of the platform? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!Thank you!

A similar question has been posted by another user about 3 years ago, but they didn’t have a solution on their post.I am trying to get the “like” button to return to its default state when the “dislike” button is clicked and vice versa.When hovered over, they reveal a tool tip and turn gray.Each time one of these buttons is clicked, it shows a different notification overlay (liked notif, disliked notif, and undo notif (undo happens on 2nd click)).Below is the current logic I am trying for the “like” button (I’ve tried a few variations, I’ve asked AI, and I’ve tried different variables. I’ve also tried having both buttons in the same component set).If you have any ideas at all, please advise. I will try those too. 😅Thank you in advance!

Hi Figma Copmmunity, is there a way to protype so that when you have a component list created and one of those items is selected another component list shows up with the ability to select a second option in a separate component list?

Hello, I have an issue that’s bugged me for years here. Illustrations I make in Adobe Illustrator seem to scatter a bit (position) when imported into Figma. This doesn’t always happen for larger illustrations (sometimes the paths still go astray), but the smaller svgs seem to have real issues interpreting these paths and tangents most times.For example, here’s illustrations made on a 40x40 px artboard. Illustrator fileIllustrator file zoomed inHowever, when I import this to Figma, everything scatters to some extent.Figma screenshot of same svgIs it impossible to import small svgs exactly? For years, my personal Figma account was billed at $15/month for a single design seat. I just discovered that, over the past 3 months, Figma has been charging me for 9 additional design seats tied to ex-coworkers from a company I left nearly a year ago. My bill jumped from $15 to $200/month—without my authorization or approval. I have no idea how these ex-coworkers were added to my personal account; I never invited them, and we only collaborated through the company’s Figma account, which I lost access to immediately after leaving.Now I’m seriously concerned they may have had access to all my client files, raising major privacy and security issues. I have a question about short-term access in Figma, especially regarding the new billing model. I've been using Figma for quite a long time but has never wondered this.I'm currently on Professional plan. Can anyone help me answer these questions?When there's no available seat, whenever I upgrade an account in a team to a Paid seat, I'll then buy a Paid seat for the whole team, not that account only, right? So if I just want to grand a short-term access for less than a month, I'll have to pay for that seat for its duration from the purchase date to the end of the billing cycle, or the date I remove the account from the seat, or for I'll have to pay for the whole month? There's 2 other scenarios: What if I remove the account from the seat before the end of the billing cycle: let's say the cycle ends on the 30th, and I assign the account to the seat from the 10th to 20th? What if I remove the account from the seat after the end of the billing cycle: the cycle ends one the 30th, and I ass

I was trying to delete a text style in Figma slides, and couldn’t figure it out at all. Until I accidentally move the popover to discover there’s actually two popover. The one on top is covering the one on the bottom with the delete button. Figma, you might want to fix this, seems like a glaring bug.

Hey everyone—I’m working on a Figma plugin that helps with Arabic and English interfaces. One issue I keep running into: I can’t figure out how to detect or set the text direction (like right-to-left for Arabic). The plugin API doesn’t seem to have anything like textDirection, and I’ve tried checking the characters in the text manually, but it’s messy—especially when the text mixes Arabic and English, or has numbers and punctuation. I just want to know if there's any way, even a workaround, to know whether a text node is RTL or LTR, and ideally control it from the plugin. Has anyone dealt with this before? Thanks inadvance!

I had a component named "Button" I made some drastic changes to it not realizing that it was used a lot throughout our designs, and my changes will probably affect the existing designs Didn't publish any changes to the library yet So I renamed the component to "Button new", and copy pasted the old unchanged version of that component from the version history, called "Button" Now if I publish the changes, will it break all my instances of "Button", or will they remain intact and I will simply have a new component of "Button new?

Hi!I have always used the free version of Figma and had no problem giving other people editing rights and collaborating on projects.Recently, I bought the pro plan to access dev mode. Now I don’t seem to be able to give anyone editing rights without paying for their seat.Is it true that as a pro user I can’t have people editing my file without paying for an extra seat? Or am I just doing something wrong?Thank you in advance!:)

Hi! I saw a prototype where clicking on a circle inside an Auto Layout made it expand horizontally, and the other elements next to it were pushed automatically — no frames, no manual resizing. Just Auto Layout and Variants. What am I missing to make the expanding circle push the other elements inside the Auto Layout using Smart Animate?Thanks! (The light blue example is something that works as expected, it’s from the project that I took to study, and the dark blue is mine, and it doesn’t work, even though I tried to replicate the setup, but if it’s not working it’s because I’m missing something, but I don’t know what. It just overlaps the other item) Can someone explain to me how to do this?

i have a icon i used in badge i made icon atom for the icon for easy instance swapping and other things as well so this atom is 24*24 but i need in 12*12 as soon as i make instance of badge it gets scaled on it own

Hi everyone,I have not used Figma in quite some times, and I am becoming so mad for something that is so basic… I just need help with that because I am obviously missing something here. I just want to have a component constiting of a simple button, with only a label in it. No icon, no variants with different sizes. I want this button to be resized automatically with the lentgh of the label, but from the center, NOT from left to right. And that is where I am lost.Here is what I do right now:I create my text I add an auto layout This creates a frame to which I add a fill I set my text to “Align center” I set my auto layout to “Align center” Everything is set to “Hug Content”How can I set it to be resized from the center, and not from left to right? The only workaround I have in mind, is to put this Button (text + auto layout frame) into another bigger frame, set to “center align” as well. But this seems so unnecessary, and as soon as I set this new frame to “Hug content” this goes back t
