There is a bug — I can't select some of the elements within frames, whether I'm clicking and dragging (rectangle select), or doing the same but with cmd key pressed (on mac). If you move the frame randomly on the page some elements may become selectable again. This occurred in a pretty big project of mine (a lot of frames and pictures on the page). I cannot work further with it. How to solve it?

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. I see you've already filed a bug report, which is great. While our support team investigates, could you try these troubleshooting steps?

  • Close any Figma tabs you're not using
  • Browser: Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
  • Try “Regenerate all instances (slow) ” via Actions? You can also open the actions menu using Command K for Mac.

     

  • Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it. If the issue persists, try clearing the cache.
