Hey everyone!I’ve been working on a small side project at macropad.io to help speed up repetitive tasks in Figma. We designed a 16-key macropad with custom keycaps printed with Figma shortcuts — like "Frame Selection," "Group," "Detach Instance," etc. Basically, it’s like a physical layer of shortcut buttons.The idea is to make your workspace more efficient without memorizing every key combo or relying on muscle memory.Here’s a preview of the keycaps we madeWould love to hear your thoughts: Would something like this be helpful in your workflow? Yesterday I was bugged 3 times with a captcha task!Every 2-3 hours, today morning - the same. Is Figma out of their minds?WTF?Anyone else has had this idiocy? And it’s an organization account!!!!

Hello Figma community, I’m encountering an issue with setting a fixed background image in my Figma project. Here’s a breakdown of the problem I’m facing: Background Image Overlapping Other Layers: When I try to set the background image as fixed by placing it under the fixed section of the layers panel, it ends up being displayed in front of the rest of the layers. This behavior is unexpected, as I would expect the background image to remain behind all other layers. Opacity Setting Issue: Additionally, the background image is set at 15% opacity. However, due to the aforementioned problem with layer order, the words and images from the scrollable layers are showing through the background image. This is not the desired effect, as I intend for the background image to remain fixed. Also, I tried to use the fix from a Topic from April 2021 from this forum, but it also didn’t work. Figma prototypes have become incredibility slow and take eternity to load.Is anyone else facing this issue?

Hello. Has anyone encountered such an error? video in .mov format does not load, the error “Error uploading video:invalid video data” comes out. A .webm video with an alpha channel is rendered with a black background. and in the working window it is transparent.

Hello,we maintain a design system in figma and it would be interesting to know if code connect can support two implementations of one component.The reason is that we have implementations in different versions of angular. There is a main one, but it would be cool to add the secondary option as well.

I’m not sure what I am doing wrong. I created the shapes, and made 5 copies and rotated accordingly, then I made a component set and put in some protype settings according to a loader I saw that worked and mine doesn’t. Any help would be wonderful.

I’m experimenting with moving some designs across to Figma buzz to take advantage of the bulk export settings. At the moment I’m just having a couple of issues and wondered if anybody had found a work around. Whilst any price text field containing $000 populates correctly, I’ve noticed any other local such as £ or € seems to drop the currency marker completely and just populate with the numbers.  Any adjustable percentage across the locals populates as the decimal number and not as the percentage written in the spreadsheet. E.g “20%” will populate as 0.2. I was also wondering if there is anyway you can control which component variations appear via the spreadsheet? such as linking a boolean to a field and writing “yes” and “no” etc?  Cheers in advance.  

In figma make, I have a design. I have it so it has a rendered version number on the the page (see screenshot).Is there a prompt I can use that asks figma make to always update the version to be the same as it's own internal version reference number? (eg)  

Hi everyone,I’m currently designing in Sketch on my desktop, and I upload those files to Figma for collaboration. What I’d like to do is upload a new version of a Sketch file over an existing Figma file — essentially replacing the old file without creating a new one each time.Does Figma allow direct overwriting of files from Sketch, or is there a workaround or recommended approach for keeping the file updated in the same Figma location without duplicating or manually transferring everything each time.Thanks!

Hi, I have a component with an animation in it that runs automatically (after delay). When I use an instance of my component in a Figma slide, it only animates the first time the slide opens. I want it to run everytime the slide opens. Can this be done somehow?

Hi, is there a way in Figma to create an inner gradient (or blend)? It should go from 100% to 0% opacity like this example. 

Hello everyone,I’ve stumbled upon a rather frustrating issue when exporting frames to JPG — and I wonder if anyone has experienced the same, or has a clue where to dig.When I export a frame to JPG (doesn’t matter whether it’s @1x, @2x, or @3x), I keep seeing strange artifacts. Specifically: it looks as if some pixels shift places — like tiny glitches — and what’s most odd, they appear in different places depending on the export scale.All positions of my artboard and all the objects inside the frame are aligned to whole numbers (e.g., 2412 instead of 2412.54). I double-checked all coordinates — no fractions hiding anywhere.Yet, the exported JPG shows these random pixel-level misalignments, and it’s making me a little… poetic with frustration.Has anyone else encountered this? Could this be a rendering bug, or am I missing something subtle?Looking forward to your thoughts and wisdom — and may your pixels stay aligned.Thank you!upd. I noticed this problem on Windows, but not on Mac...

I’m trying to publish an bugfix update of our plugin, and the Publish plugin window displays the error “Please enable two-factor authentication to publish this plugin”. Our company uses SSO, and does not have two-factor enabled. The support page at https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042293394-Publish-a-plugin-to-the-Community says You need to have two-factor authentication enabled to publish plugins, including publishing updates to existing plugins. You won’t need to use two-factor authentication if you sign in to Figma via SAML SSO or Google SSO. But I can’t find any further information about how to publish the update without enabling two-factor.

I just setup my first site in figma sites. I’m using godaddy for registrar and DNS. www.site_name.com works perfectlyhttps://site_name.com does not direct to the figma siteHow do I set things up so that both the www and not-www point to figma?  

Hello. I have recieved notification on email that my student plan expires in 4 weeks, though it has been only 1 year since i’ve registered in figma and i also verified my edu plan this year. I have read that student plan is valid for 2 years, so why mine expires so soon? 

Hi everyone. I’m still a beginner in Figma and I have been trying to create an interactive map to put as an embedding element on a website.I was trying to make use of the hover effect so the image will be changed into different colour to emphasise it. The problem is the boarder lines between countries - as the components cannot be placed on the same layer, the overlapping boarder will not be shown properly with the selected component. Please see below.Is there any way to fix this or how should I add layer to it? Thanks a lot!
