When I invite users to a file with simple “Can view” access, I know they have less features than I do as an owner of the file, but I’m not sure which and more importantly I never know how to guide them. For instance I would like to explain a newcomer how they can easily visualize the prototype noodles in my file, but I’m not sure how they do that in their version of the UI.

It would be interesting to be able to degrade my own UI temporarily into the UI of a “can view” user, so I can wlak in their shoes and help them with onboarding.

Hey Fabrice, if you want to share your work with newcomers or anyone, you can share the prototype link instead of the work canvas link. I hope this will help you out.

Hi @Fabrice,

Thank you for your post! I would like to invite you to explore my test file in view mode:

I plan to keep it accessible for a few days or weeks for your convenience. I hope you find it useful.

Also, could I request to change the post category from “Share an Idea” to “Ask the Community”? “Share an Idea” is typically reserved for feature requests.

Thank you!

Toku

Thanks for your reply. Indeed I know I can share a proto link as well, but my goal is more to understand what the users see in their canvas view, and to make sure they visualize the proto interactions (blue noodles), because for me those interactions are a key part of the design specification. Viewing how the flow is structured is for me as important as playing the proto because it provides an overview of what’s going on.
