My educational plan is expiring and I have since graduated. Prompt form Figma says to either upgrade to professional plan, verify educational status or since any teams will become disabled: retain view access to files by moving them to drafts.


However it appears that there is no longer a drafts section outside of the separate teams- so if I have to move the files to drafts, I would have to move them to the drafts section of a team - but the teams are going to become disabled when the account is downgraded to started from educational plan!


So where do I need to move the files in order to retain them for editing after my account is downgraded to starter pman from educational?

Can someone please advise?

As Gleb said, I’ve created a ticket on your behalf to the support team so they can downgrade your plan as a Starter Plan. For your reference, your ticket number is 1079738. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!


Also, to clarify about the draft, there’s no limit to the number of files you can create in the drafts folder in the selected team, the same as how drafts worked before.

This is also true for Starter teams which have a limit of maximum three files - the files in your personal drafts are being moved into a specific drafts space for your selected team, not to a regular project within the team specifically. This ultimately means that drafts associated with the team can hold as many files as you’d like - the Starter teams’ limitation applies to a project within the team, not team drafts.I also recommend taking a look at Updates to how drafts work for some additional information on these updates.

(Please then make sure to move your files in your team drafts)
