Question

Drop shadow blur not working as intended

I just noticed that drop-shadows in my project appear blown out of proportion when the blur value is greater than 0 (screenshot).

When the blur value is set to zero the shadow contour looks correct (screenshot), but stencil shadows aren’t the intended appearance. They should have a soft edge.

This was previously working. Did the variables update perhaps change the blur behavior?

hey @Nathan_Cooper
Would you like to create this type of shadow?

I have the same issue…
It used to work but since about yesterday the shadows appear wrong.
Seems like its a bug.

Hi there,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Could you also share a screenshot of the layer panel? This will help us get a better understanding of how your layers are organized.

Thanks,
Toku

Hi Toku,

Here is a screenshot of the layers and related settings. Thanks!

Hi @Jaydip_Upadhyay yes that’s how it used to look until it stopped looking that way.
