So I’m relatively new to Figma (former XD user trying to migrate over) and have used it for a couple of client projects already (I’m a web designer). I’m still trying to figure out the organization and if it’s a necessity to upgrade to a pro plan?

This is my current structure:

Team- Client

Team Project- High Fidelity Wireframes

One thing I’m not a fan of is the fact I can’t archive my teams, as soon as the project is complete, I would like to have it removed from the teams folder.

I watched a video on a freelancer who had the upgraded plan and had the client work in the “Team Project” tier.

Is there any tiers you would recommend for me to use in my case? The one thing I like in the pro plan is you can have unlimited pages within a file which would help a lot with my designs rather than have a bunch of frames.

Any advice or resources are greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I’d also like to mention in some cases, I like to throw in some social media templates for my clients.

Hello @Mayra_Janettee

You may create a new project called archives and move your “done” file into it so it won’t be visually bothering anymore. Other than that I’m not sure you can do anything (buuut there is a topic you can upvote so Figma might implement it later : Archive for files projects

Is there any tiers you would recommend for me to use in my case?

As a UI designer who work with design system and color theme I find the Pro plan to be very useful :

  • I use variables for my colors and then modes to toggle my design from light to dark theme

  • I also use variable to ease the number of page I have to duplicate when making hi-fi prototype

Also the Pro plan offer the ability to protect file with password or revolve/limit access to whomever I want (as long as your are the owner/admin of this file ofc)

Hit me if there’s anything you need more information about

Hope it helped
