I’m experiencing an issue where detaching instances isn’t working in any component. Normally, we use command+option+b to do this, but currently, I’m unable to detach any component in any file. (I encountered this problem in a newly opened file, then checked my other files as well. It’s not appearing when I right-click anymore.)

I just checked on my MacBook in the app and using the browser, and things are working as expected. Are you able to share a link to your file, so we here in the community can take a closer look?

The ability to detach instances is only available on paid plans. More info here:

Yes, I am not on a paid plan and I used to be able to do it before. Do I need to switch to a paid plan now?

Our team just tried to repro on a starter team and detaching instances actually seemed to still work as expected. Where are you pulling your components from?
Can you also share edit access tp support-share@figma.com, so we can take a closer look at your file?
