Updated to the new FIgma 116.10.9 and now I can’t change parameter values by clicking and dragging.

This occurs on both the app and browser versions (Chrome on Mac).

When I click a label of a parameter. The cursor (two sided arrows) grows a little wider but freezes in place.

Any ideas?

anything on this??

Hi there, Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I understand that it can be quite inconvenient when the ability to scroll horizontally through values isn’t working.

II tried to reproduce the issue on my end but everything seemed to be working fine.

As a first step, could you try clearing your app and browser cache to see if that helps?

Here’s an article that walks you through how to clear the Figma desktop app cache: Clear the Figma desktop app cache

If that doesn’t do the trick, I’d recommend reaching out directly to our support team through this link: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

To help our support team investigate, it would be great if you could provide the following information:

  1. Please ensure you use your Figma account email address.

  2. A quick video recording demonstrating the issue. In the video, it would be really helpful to see the entire window, with the Properties and Layers Panel visible and the relevant layers expanded.

  3. Share the file link and add support-share@figma.com as an Editor to the files(don’t worry, this won’t affect your billing).

I hope this helps! If there’s anything I’ve missed, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

We always appreciate insights and suggestions from our community, so please feel free to share yours here!

Thanks,

I have the same exact problem since yesterday. The same’s happening to my colleagues here, on both the Web and Desktop versions, regardless the OS.

Hi there, Thank you for reaching out about this!

I have checked both the desktop app and Chrome on my end, and it appears to be functioning as expected.

If you haven’t already, please try some basic troubleshooting steps to see if there is any improvement:

  • Browser: Force-quit your current session and try opening Figma in a new browser window.

  • Desktop app: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and then restart it.

  • Try using other supported browsers.

  • Clear the app or browser cache to see if this resolves the issue.

If the problem persists even after trying these steps, could you please submit a report through this link: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001744374

To assist our support team in investigating further, please provide the following information:

  • Please ensure you use your Figma account email address.

  • A brief video recording demonstrating the issue.

  • Details of the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far.

Thank you once again for your assistance.
