Update navigation to go back to Home (file browser) after closing a tab

If you close a tab (file), it currently defaults to the next open tab. I find this to be frustrating, because I expect it to go back to home (file browser) view so I can open another file I’m looking for. When it defaults to display the next open tab, I lose my train of thought and have to stop to remind myself what I was doing next.

I’ve noticed this for some time now, and it might be specific to my use case. I’m teaching a Figma course, and am often opening many files to grade student work. So after I finish with one, I want to go back to the file browser to open the next file. I also found this to be true when I was opening various files in search of something.
