Having to open a menu and type or look for a variable to set as an alias of another variable takes too long, I would like to be able to type the format like global/color/gray/50 directly into the input

I can see how this could be useful and I’ve noted it for our Product team. Variables are still very new and we’re currently working to improve them with new workflows and features based on what our community needs.


I can’t guarantee this will be implemented nor share an ETA for it but I’m happy to give it some more visibility 🙂

I think you’ve already been told this, but I think you should just take the functionality of the studio tokens plugin and customize it to your visual style
