Nothing takes away the realism of a mobile prototype than seeing a hover sticker flicker on when your mouse-over it. There should be a feature where all hover state effects are automatically (or have an option to) disabled when presenting in any of the touch-based “Device” presets.

Use case example: My design team has a design system that includes buttons that contain hover effects. This makes sense for desktop, but when using the buttons on mobile designs, the hover effect doesn’t make sense. Rather than include a variant in each component called ‘mobile’ or something, why not just have this as a default setting or one-click option?
