So i am trying to this this wireframes for a desktop app that i need to build for a college project and i am trying to do something with the On Click → Change to prototyping, with some buttons and changing the appearance of the dashboard.

I have already added an instance to make the “pressed down” (While pressing → Change to → Active) appearance of the button and that went smoothly. But now i also want to add on that same button the On Click interaction for when the user clicks on that button the dashboard changes to have the Login details. Can someone help me? It is even possible to add the While Pressing → Change To and the On Click → Change To on the same button?

Would love to add some images and videos to explain myself better but i am not seeing if that’s possible here. Thank you!

You cant add multiple actions to an event. Its the biggest pain of Figma prototyping.

Even if you have an interaction in a component, you cannot add another action on it. It makes no sense.

Im losing my mind too.

I’m new on Figma and struggling with the same thing. Planning to test something on UserZoom and need to have this click checkbox, selected state and auto scroll further down the page, and I can’t do it. Either I can have the checkbox selected or the scroll effect. Annoying!

Same here – I am relatively new to Figma, and I have been frustrated by not being able to click a button and have its state change and display an overlay on click at the same time. I am surprised that this is not possible. Wondering if anyone has some kind of workaround??

Hey All,

Apologies for the frustration! We hear you, & this is already on our radar! Feel free to add your feedback for the team and vote here: Prototyping: Allow multiple actions for a trigger

Thank you!! 😃

Thank you so much for this! 🙌 👍
