I am experiencing an annoying issue where component’s states are not being rendered in Prototype mode. In the Figma page the component has the state of Active, but on Prototype mode the component is rendered with the Enable state.

I’ve tried closing the file, deleting the component, updating the component, restarted Figma, but not success.

Do Figma prototypes have a cache? If so, where can I find it?

Many thanks.

Hi @Diego_ORIANI prototypes do not have their own cache but you an try clearing the browsers or desktop application cache to see if that helps. You can find this in the desktop by going to Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache and Restart on a Mac or under the Toggle-arrow at the right of the top toolbar under Help > Troubleshooting for Windows

I would also suggest checking to make sure you do not have two of the same frame stacked on top of each other.

If clearing the cache doesnt help, I would suggest reaching out to our support team directly via this form for help: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Be sure to use your Figma account email, include these links to the file, and share it with support-share@figma.com so they can take a closer look.

I have escalated the issue to the support @Ryan_52 . Could you please get some traction on the ticket? I have a deadline to meet. 🙏

Many thanks.

I’m having the same issue. Deleting cache and restarting didn’t work
