Figma Mirror not Working from today morning. I reinstalled ap but its its loading

Same problem in IOS 14.4 ! I dont wanna to upgrade my ios to the newest version!

@Josh Still not working. Please fix it as soon as possible. Thanks.

App is completely broken with the recent update on latest iOS

Why add new features that noone asked for and break the only useful thing the old app did do?

Im having the same issue on my device this morning.I have the design setup on my figma and everytime I select the artboard on my desktop, It doesnt reflect on my device. Is it a bug?

Mirror is also not working for me - it doesn’t even try to load the frame, the mirror tab in the app is unresponsive and stays on the ‘Select a frame or component’ screen no matter what. I’m on iOS 15.2.1 and have tried restarting figma, the app, and my phone, with no luck. Any updates???

Hi all, this issue should now be fixed. Please update to the latest version of the app and ensure you have a top level frame selected to mirror as well.

If you’re still experiencing issues, please let me know the version of iOS and of the app you’re running and we will investigate further.

I’m having the same issue until now, seeing the black screen with loading on it then it brings me to this page with a popup that says,“Uh-oh, this frame can’t be opened on mobile”. I’ve had used Figma mirror with more complex content on frames and that figma mirror worked okay. Why now? I tried creating a dummy Frame with an image, same issue. Can you help?

Hi! I still have a problem with iOS 15.2.1, Figma version 20.0.2

iOS 15.3 + Figma Version 20.0.2, top level frame selected. Tested across multiple files…still not working for me. Very frustrating.

So sorry you’re still experiencing problems, I definitely want to look into this further. Could you describe what problem you’re having specifically? And can I double check the following:

  1. Are you mirroring from the desktop app or web

  2. Are you selecting a top level frame on web

  3. Are you signed into the same account on both devices

Thanks for the clarification. Could you describe in more detail what issue you’re having and could you let me know the following as well:

  1. Are you mirroring from the desktop app or web

  2. Are you signed into the same account on both devices

Hopefully we can help fix this ASAP

This is very strange! Just to clarify you’re only seeing this issue on one file, but more complex files are working ok?

No, I can’t get it to work on any file.

I’ve made sure to check for updates on the desktop app & mobile app, logged in and out of the mobile app various times AND triple checked I am selecting the top frame.

No luck.

I’m currently using my android and iPadOS and having the same issue.

Thanks for clarifying that, could you possibly try mirroring from a file open in a web browser and see if that works? If not we can try and debug this direclty.

Could you clarify the following:

  1. Are you mirroring from the desktop app or from the web

  2. Are you signed into the same account on both devices

  3. Have you selected a top level frame

Would love to look into this further with you

I quit the Figma desktop app, then logged into the Figma web app and mirroring worked.

Ironically when I relaunched Figma on desktop, mirroring was once again working from there.

Not sure which one of these actions caused the bug to go away, but I am back in business. Thanks for your help!

OK fantastic! Will drop you a DM as I would love to look into this further to see the cause of it. Thanks again for helping fix it!

Having the same issue as people describe above on the Figma app on iPhone. I’m on MacOS Monterey, iOS 15.2.1, and trying to use both the Figma desktop app and the web app.

The Figma iOS app opens and recognises when I select a frame, but when I try to mirror it I get the black loading screen for 5+ minutes every time and just have to give up.

Eternal loading screens when I either try to mirror or try to play a prototype after selecting a project on the main screen:

Have logged in and out of every app/instance multiple times. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on both devices multiple times.

I’m signed into the same Figma account on both devices, and I’m definitely trying to mirror top level frames. I’ve tried mirroring from both web and desktop and neither work.

Any other ways to troubleshoot this?

My iPhone mirror requires me to upgrade to use it, but the App Store requires me to upgrade to ios14.5 or higher. I am currently on ios14.4, and I don’t want to and can’t upgrade my system, so am I being abandoned? There is no way for users below ios14.5 to use the mirror app, right??
