Truble for subscribe

Hi there – thanks for reaching out to the community! I totally understand how frustrating it can be to end up with extra seats accidentally.

• To give you more details on how billing works: if you add extra seats beyond your original annual plan, they’re billed separately. On the Professional plan, you can choose to pay $15 monthly per seat or get an annual discount of $12 per seat per month.

Each month, Figma checks your active full seats. If you’re using more full seats than your annual plan subscription, there’s a $15 monthly charge for each additional full seat.

This ability to have a combined annual and monthly subscription allows you to access the discounted rate for full seats you’ll need for the long term, as well as full seats you’d like to add or remove but not pay for for the full year.

• A user is billed as a full seat if they have “can edit” access to a file in your team. To remove user from billing, change their access from any full seat to “Viewer - restricted”. (learn more about managing seats here).

To see who is currently on a full (paid seat) and perform this downgrade:

1. Select the admin console next to your team name on the left side of the file browser
2. Navigate to the Members tab of your team page
3. Set the Design role and FigJam role filters to Full to display all billed users
4. Downgrade any Full seat to Viewer-Restricted to remove that user from billing

• To answer your second question, while we can’t completely remove FigJam as a feature, you can definitely limit your team’s access by changing their roles to “Viewer - restricted.” This way, they won’t be able to edit or create new FigJam files within the team.

I also recommend having an admin set up email notifications to receive an alert when a seat is upgraded.

I have only 2 member on full rights, and 1 member on “Viewer - restricted”
But in billing i see 8 total design seats and cant understand what does it mean and why there is 8 people…
