I don’t know why, but recently I automatically get three “kits by Figma” libraries in the Assets panel in every new Figma design. And when I open older files, these libraries also appear. What’s going on ? Can’t find a preference, a setting or a Help article about it…

If seems as if this Community file is added to each file in my whole account (not restricted to a team or project).

You can remove them in the Libraries modal if you navigate to the Assets tab, and click the Book icon.

Hey Caitlin, thanks for the tip. I already know how to get rid of libraries in general. But I’m not very willing to do this file by file, for each file from now on, just because they magically pop in. So my concern is how they seem to get there in the first place ? Maybe I overlooked some preference of a new feature, or some design file with a library has hooked itself up in some way…

In global setting there is an item, something like “Enables team libraries“. You may want to check there first

Greetings. I’m seeing the same thing — three Figma kits appeared in a few of my files. Are they automatically included in all existing files, because removing three libraries from each file is just extra stuff to do that I never asked for.

It’s great that those resources are available for anyone who needs them, but I don’t get why I should go through extra steps just to keep my files the way that the were already 🙁.
