Screenshare freezes on Google Meet

When sharing Figma prototypes or canvases on Google Meet, the screenshare freezes pretty much automatically.

I’ve tried this in the Meet web app and PWA, also in the Figma desktop app and web app. Doesn’t seem to happen in Zoom, but we tend to use Meet by default.

On MacOS Sonoma 14.5 and Figma 124.2.9

Anyone else having this problem recently/have a fix? Been going on for at least a month.

I have found other topics but all a few months old and recommending upgrading to the latest version of Figma, which I seem to be on.

I have the same issue, but weirdly for me Figma freezes when I use my work email, and when I use on my personal account it works fine.

Also I am using MacOS Sonoma 14.6.1 and Figma Version 124.3.1

Hi there, it was happening in every file I used, however I think it might be to do with having Figma in fullscreen mode. I’ve recently started sharing Figma specifically in a non-fullscreen window and it seems to have stopped.
