Query related to educational plan

Darshan_Verma

Will I be able to access all the file that I created during my edu plan, if my educational plan got expired?

For the files you have already working on, I’d recommend you to move the files to your drafts so you can continue editing them after your Education plan expires.

(As a reminder, if the files on your Education plan exceed the limits of the Starter plan after the Education plan expires, you will still be able to view the files but you won’t be able to edit them. So the best option will be to move in the Draft here.

  • File limit: On the Starter plan, your team can have three FigJam files and three Figma design files with a maximum of three pages per design file. You can invite as many people as you want to view or edit these files. If you have more than the allowed number of files in your team when you downgrade, Figma will prevent you from being able to edit your files. To keep editing those files, move them to your drafts or another team. Learn more about moving files →
  • Project limit: On a Starter plan, your team will have one project. If your team has more than one project when you downgrade, Figma will lock your team and prevent you from editing your files. To keep editing, you’ll need to reorganize your files and projects so they are under those limits. Learn more about moving projects and moving files →

Hope this clarifies, let me know if you have any other questions! 🙂

Hey @Darshan_Verma , welcome to the community!

If you re-upgrade, you should be able to access all of your files again. Also, these are the features you will have access to through your Starter Plan with Figma (You can have 3 files up to 3 pages each within a single team on a free Starter) . Hope this helps!

What about the files that I was already working on? If didn’t upgrade, then wouldn’t I’ll be able to access my files?
