Figma on the web doesn't detect my desktop app

Using macOS 11.4

I wanted to open figma links on the desktop app but my web application is not detecting that have the desktop version. The Open in Desktop app button and preference don’t show up as a result.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the Get Desktop App button but it’s still not working.

I have 2 different accounts on the app. Logged in to the same one for both desktop and web.

Any troubleshooting tips?

Hey I found my issue. I was logged in with a different account on the desktop app. You must be logged in with the same account in both web and the desktop app for the deep link to work. @Gino_Jacob
